An average college experience

The course is very intresting, personally speaking.It's understandable and gives us most information we need to know on the subject on a basic level.The textbooks we refer to are adept for us students.But the teaching methods were very poor.

We had one internship offered from wahy lab pvt ltd.Where we also did our project for semester finals.The teachers didn't help with the project at all.They held an introduction class to this company and enrolled us.

The regular fee for most 3 year courses was 20000 rupees. I recieved a scholarship based on my 12th marks and paid a fee of 12500 rupees. A few students had completed the course without paying any tuition fee at all. But they have charge us ridiculous amounts as maintenance and to host events of which they pocket a good amount.

The college regularly held activities, festivals, seminars, talent shows and such and one of these happened every couple months. We had access to a wide range of books and collections both study books and storybooks and such.The library was well equipped and well maintained. We had a football team and held sports events atleast twice a year. There were not any student clubs

I applied to colleges mostly outside kerala.I received admission from 2 colleges in tamilnadu and one in Bengaluru.I also received rejection letters from a couple colleges because of lack of extracurricular activities and such.I chose this college though because they offered a scholarship. There is no eligibility or anything required to take admission here. You call,get the admission and pay the fees. There's not even a minimum mark requirement.

There is 2 or 3 eligible teachers to teach a class of 30 students one subject.But they allot the classes to teachers based on who's available and not who's qualified.I had teachers with no knowledge on the subject teach us because no one else could. They are approachable if you have any non course related queries but absolutely helpless if you have to clear a doubt. I honestly didn't have any faculty I especially liked. Semester ams are held as per university declaration,they are fairly easy to crack and we have a good success rate. Internal exams are sometimes conducted and sometimes Marks are awarded based on whom the teachers like best and not on testpapers assignments and other factors.

There is no hangout spots. We have a good for nothing cafeteria. The college is extremely cramped and has no space whatsoever. Even if it did, the teachers wont let you leave anywhere, especially girls. But there is the kadambrayar lake outside the college area where students frequently hang but it not at all safe to go at night. There is no unwinding or anything.The teachers wont let you go anywhere.
