Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is just too vast and therefore extra lectures are organized every year. This is sad as we don't get off sometimes even on public holidays because we always run out of time. So that is only area where college should change a bit of rather university as this is under their criteria.
Placement Experience
Many companies which deals in electricals and mostly it's the software companies though. This is the case every where as core companies are less but our college still has managed to ensure that students do get placements in core companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Paying caution to the wind is necessary as fees these days are just too high for engineering colleges. However, it isn't the case with SIRT as fees here is just 52000 per year and in that too scholarships of various forms are available for the students who comes from poor background or backward classes.
Campus Life
Our fest Sage Utsav and tech fest Techno Saga both are combined for both colleges of the campus and they are SIRT and SIRT-E. Many societies including Enactus for social work being the most active and students are also active playing sports here. The facilities for the same are insane as students can literally be spoiled for which sport to choose for playing.
Admission
Admission in SIRT is after 12th grade and entrance scores are calculated. Cut-offs are generally high and are second highest for electrical branch. So competence level here for admission is high as very few seats and demand is every year on the higher side.
Faculty
Ratio is not relevant here as we have both kind of faculties. Infact three kind i should say as the ones who are permanent then we have guest faculties and finally some are hired on contract. All are somebody who needs admiration as college never hires someone who is not competent.
Night Life
S3 Food zone can fetch you all the food items you crave for as that's a food mall. Besides thar Tabbar house is students favourite but my personal favourite is Burgerland Minal Residency. For hangout we have temples and mosques too and a museum too.
