My first college experience

Our branch is based on robotics and it has a huge scope so according to the Trend it is a good choice. We have 7 subjects in total including communicative English, engineering graphics, engineering mathematics, engineering physics, electronic workshop, Mechanical Workshop and EAA Which is good for the basics of Mechanical and electronics. Examinations are held 2 times per semester and the difficulty depends on the subjects

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement Hundreds of companies visit our college including Google, Amazon, TCS, Tata, Infosys etc Highest and average packages vary year by year and branch by branch for example in the year 2022 highest package from CS was 1.8 cr and in 2023 it was 52 LPA for CS but the average package for CS is approx 16 LPA For mechanical it is 9 LPA etc But for mechatronics and automation(MAE) the predicted package is 20 LPA. After the degree is want to study further about robotic.

Our college has a yearly tuition fee of 1,32,000 for students, with 40000 yearly for the hostel and 24000 for the mess food ( food is average) and other fees like security deposit, examination fees etc. hence for 1st semester we pay 1,55,000, and for other 7 semesters, we have to pay 1,08,000 each. You also get a 66% scholarship on tuition fees if your family income is below 5,00,000 and a 100% scholarship on tuition fees if your family income is below 1,00,000 or you belong to the sc/st category.

We have an annual fest for our college along with many events organised by our college or by the clubs of the college We have a huge library with over 75,000 books and magazines in it; it also provides WiFi for the students to study. They have a projector in every classroom and some have digital boards also. We have a moderate size of playground for cricket and football a separate court for squashball, badminton, table tennis etc and a separate place for a dance performance. Our college has many clubs like Hackslack, TESLA, Navansh, GYB, Vista etc Which continuously organises many events in our college

The hostel facility is good we have single-seater, 2-seater, 3-seater and 5-seater rooms available here, a strong wooden bed, table and chair for each is provided along with a fan. Mess food is average. It provides quantity but forgets the quality of food, it feels tasteless, and they also cook vegetarian and non-vegetarian food in one place. It charges 12,000 per semester for mess food and 20,000 per semester for hostel rooms, they have limited single-seater rooms and have to pay an extra 6000 for them. They don't provide facilities like a water heater and an air conditioner.

I also applied to other colleges, but according to the branch and college ranking, it is one of the perfect choices. So, I rejected other college options and adopted this one. We have to fill out an online application form and physical reporting held after the last round of CSAB on the 12th of September 2024 and after submitting the required documents our college admission is confirmed.

We have 7 subjects in total, and of all the professors I like our English professor the most. She is very supportive and also prepares us for our career life. Professors are supportive and have a lot of teaching experience. For every semester exams are held 2 times, mid sem examination and the sem examination and before the end sem examination external and internal Viva are taken

The college has no timings for a visit but for classes, it's from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. It has 3 cafeterias on the college campus and 3 tea, coffee and chocolate spots, Our college has a place named PMC(Piya Milan Chauraha) which is a couple of spots, if you are single then this place is not for you, We also have movie theatres near our college and a good medical facility available in our college There are also many places to visit near the college including Ganga Ghat, Bihar Museum, planetarium etc Timings for our sone hostel(1st year boys only hostel): Gates are open from 6 am to 9 pm
