The up and downs of the college.

I am pursuing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering because i like the mechanism of different machines And here in my college they teach you average according to the real world applications The labs are not that good they only want you to complete you file and get it checked so the faculty of that particular subject doesn't get blamed that they do not teach well Here we do not get sufficient time to prepare for the class tests and semester as there are many events happening frequently in the college. But if you are a fast learner then you can easily pass the tests

Every student who are in 6th semester have to do an internship after third year which can be offered by some colleges but most of the students apply on their own or they contact their seniors for the referral to complete their internship. Thats all i know about the internship because i have just got in 2nd year.

From 3rd semester the students are eligible for placements. After the COVID there are several companies left which comes to college to offer placement but they do not offer satisfactory money. The highest package I think is 13 LPA I dont know about the percentage but they are above than average students. Here the result doesn't matter that much,the thing which matters is your skill, what you can provide to the company if you an engineering student then you must try to enhance your skills like communication skill which is the best thing you can learn even if you don’t know about the person sitting in front of you but if you do knw how to speak to a stranger to get their attention then the world is yours. Other skills also include like coding ,editing,photography, etc. After getting degree my plan is to get a stable job to provide for my family.

The tuition fees is 40000 Caution money is 5000 Exam fee is 8300 Hostle fee is 11000 Mess fee was 15500 per semester in my first year and now it is 16500 So The total fee payable is roughly 106000 per year And for your own expenses or pocket money Those who are eligible for fee waiver they do not have to pay tuition fee which is 40000 Scholarship is also available for the students according to their caste The scholarship is given on the basis of money that the student has paid like for fee waiver student they will get the scholarship but the 40000 of the tuition fee will be remove For general and obc the scholarship ranges from 55000 to 65000 and for sc st the get upto 72000

According to my first year experience, in my college ,there are many events in which you can enjoy and learn new things. My college has some annual events like PACE which is our annual sorts event in which each year participates as a team and compete the other year. There is a pressure on the final year as they are the eldest so they must win but it doesn't matter that much. The Annual Cultural Event in our college is REVERB in which everybody participates and do whatever they are good in and some people try new things like singing or dancing or drama and many more. In this event there are some designations like Mr. REVERB , Ms. REVERB ,Mr. Dances,singer, and many more The Annual Technical Event in our college is AVATAR in which teams participate According to the rules and competes in different aspects like roborace, eggdrop challenge, e sport etc Overall you enjoy a lot during these events because these are the memories of your college life so i suggest one should participate in every event to get to know his or her own capabilities In our college we dont have to buy books from the stationary as the material is available in library and our classes have smart board along with the black borad and projectors are also there. We have many clubs for the students of different branches like for IT department there is Student Developer Club and Web development club in which you learn programming ,AIML,Front ent , back end etc. For Mechanical department there is Mechanical design and analisys club in which you learn the designing of mechanical parts. And there are many more. Each evening everyone goes to sports like basketball, volleyball , table tennis, etc. So in our college there are many events , clubs for all department, sports and other extra curricular activities.

The structure of the rooms is so gross that we think that who was the idot who made this room like what the hell is that. About the facilities we have very much less you dont get the medical facilities at hostle but in academics there is but only for the academics time. In our room we get a bed a chair a table and each room has 3 roommates. Meal quality is very bad or it had got that way since we arrived because our seniors tell that the quality of the food was very good back then but now it is getting worse day by day but according to me if you have ghee and achar then you dont have to worry about anything. The hostle fee is 11000 and mess fee is 33000 yearly which is fine i think and you have to register for the hostle and mess during the fee submission for new semester. If you rented a room or PG then you have to do up down daily and have to arrange the food and there is not any PG in 4km radius. And you dont get the real exposure of the hostle life and how to behave with the senior , you cant make a bond with the seniors which a very bad thing so I suggest that one should live in the hostle .

When the counselling was going on I selected IET lucknow ,BIET Jhansi,KNI Sultanpur as my priority as they are top colleges of AKTU then I seleted Rajkiya Engineering college Banda because it has several advantages like it is close to my hometown the fee is affordable compared to other colleges I did not get into top colleges because of my rank and ofcourse caste because i am general When i got alloted this college i came for the physical reporting which took one day ,I submitted all my documents got my ID card , got alloted a room in hostle. During the registration process that day , the seniors were their for our help as they have done it before and know what problems we can face Overall there was no problem in physical reporting I got admission through the Joint Entrance Examination Main , my rank was 275431 through which i got Mechanical Engineering

The faculty here shows good behaviour oto only first years but for 2nd and above year students they dont care at all if you are failing or whatever they just want the file and assignment completed wheather you learn something or not They just want you to attend the classes and maintain 75 percent attendance I dont like some faculties because they come to class and give lecture wheather you understand or no Some are good because they support you and help you for your problems but overall the faculty is not that good In each semester two class tests are conducted and at last the semester exams

In our college boys are allowed to go anywhere in the campus but no one can go outside the campus after 9:30 as the area is a bit dangerous for anyone alone. Inside the campus the girls have to get to their hostle before 8 pm. Those boys who are in clubs can be in the club room or hall whenever they want. Most of the couple hangout in canteen which is behind the academics building. Most of boys go out of the campus in the evening for a walk as the campus is not that big but it is sufficeint. The small tea stall outside the college opens at 8 am in the morning to 10 pm in the evening. But if you want to go to shopping you need to go to atarra which is 5 km far from the college and you need to come back to college before 8 pm as it gets dark and the area is not that safe for anyone but if you are 3 or 5 people it is fine. At night we go to our seniors room or we call our juniors we party at night we make our own food like paneer or chicken and the seniors pay for us.
