Jagran College:A bless or a burst? Read more to know all RAW and REAL details from a ex-student

I just took admission because of my friend who was studying in the same college and told me about his experience in the college and thus I felt that I should also enroll myself in this college and since I had a computer background from class 12th this I chose BCA and hence I ended up here. I seriously doesn't see any chances in improving the lecture styles as they provide the best lectures and they help us make hand in hand notes and even if some student don't make notes they don't have to worry because near a month before the main external exams they also provide pre hand written notes pdf and important questions pdf by previous students.

My college have a low campus placement percentage as not more companies visit but still our college has a 30-40 annual hiring of students in campus placements. In Jagran College the internship is applicable for students of second and third year of BCA. The thing never stressed me because of my degree as I was in BCA the hiring would never ever stop. The Era is of computer how can some company limit the staff because if you develop enough skill you can even make out-campus placements.

The fee structure of BCA was 35000/- rupees yearly and of which 25000 was non refundable which meant If you cancelled your admission right next day of your admission you'd not get 25000 from your 35k's. The tution fees lab development and sports equipment fees all would bhi considered inside the 35000 rupees which will be submitted right after the admission form submission at the administrative block of the office.Same will be applied when you'll apply for the scholarship there you need to fill the College fees as 25000 rupees and you'll get 23 to 24000 rupees as scholarship. There is no relief in fees for EWS category or backward class students.

Recently 'Kalanjali'- a event across the whole log of institutions under Kanpur University join and celebrate was held on our college.Festive like 'man-mridang' and Dandiya nights are celebrated every year by our college.And our college even run clubs like NSS which recently held 20 days regular drives in the month of October in the memory of hon'ble Mahatma Gandhi ji in which we got to several places and did cleaning work and promoted the act of cleaning the surrounding in between the locals. The NSS club even participate in the donation for the poor scheme and not by any third party but we ourself go and serve the poor and needy peoples.

I chose this college because of the help provided by the teachers. As I started to become a regular visitor in the college I came to know that even if your lecture teacher catches you while you're bunking his lecture they still won't interfere as this is definitely not their task.It's definitely your decision whether to study or not. The teachers are so chill that they would make a eye contact with you ( while you're on a bunk ) still would ignore you. I applied to University of Lucknow and got admission but it was a bit late as I already paid my fees here and got myself enrolled here as this was near my residence. The admission Procedure of my college is very simple and obscure as in BCA colleges often take admission test and one must qualify it but Jagran College just doesn't take any admission test and gives admission based on 12th class results.

The student teacher ratio is 25:1 but the best part of this college is that each and every teacher is very helpful and friendly as they never neglect your problems even if they are personal and you are discussing it with them then they'll definitely show interest and help you towards your problem.For me the case was different as I was a bright student and a physically stronger one the teacher and principal usually had me by their side for some works so the whole faculty was in favour of me.But still the scholarship staff was that part of the college with whom the students didn't wanted to message with as they didn't talked nicely. They just wanted to make the child insecure of student's financial stability by cracking jokes on it. But still the rest whole faculty is very nice to students.

The infrastructure inside and the outside environment both are very friendly and time supportive as they have grounds inside the college but if we talk about the outside of the college you'll find it very cooperative. First of all the college doesn't have any hostel but right in front of the college you can find plenty of rooms and pg's available for rent from a distant range you can find plenty of cyber cafes and food stalls right in front of the college lane. We also have a police station within a km and hence this place is 200% safe for roaming at nights.
