Course Curriculum Overview

The technical and machinery aspect influenced me to choose this course as I am passionate towards the machinery equipment and towards modern invention and automobiles so that's why I choose this course instead of other.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7 th sem students are eligible for the campus placement. The recent company visited was Uno minda and escorts and offer made was between somewhere around 5 lakh to 6 .5 lakh . around 20 % of students are get placement.my plan was after getting the degree is to prepare for the government exam and also for gate.

Fees and Financial Aid

60000 Tution fee - 25000, lab fee - 1000 miscellaneous fee - 2000 As I am not a hosteler so fee hostel fee is deducted and I have to pay only the fees and tution fees . No, scholarship I get because I am from general caste and college provide scholarship to other caste students .

Campus Life

As I had also joined a society I my college which was SAE(society of Automobile engineers) as it is a international society so I had just go for it. The range of books in library is not up to the mark. Sports in my college are in number.

Admission

I had taken admission in this college because as it is near to my home and I my state Its the best government college and the fee of the college is also pocket friendly so I had just took the admission rather than other private colleges.

Faculty

The college faculty behaviour regarding the students is overall good and they support there students in every task that the student is doing. The no.of exam are 6 in a year and many of students fail to clear it.

Night Life

Gym of my college campus is very huge and it is free if cost.cafeteria is also good and library is a very huge with no.of variety of book available. Hostel timing for boys is 9 at night and for girls is for 7 at night but vary with the season and yearly

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Specific aspects of the circullum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the computer science department as I love knowing about the computer and the efforts of making daily life problems easy and best thing is that if know how to use the computer well you can earn well enough of money in this world the world only cares about that you have money or not if have they will give you respect if don't have it they treat you like shit.
