Except the mess food and the localites srm is a very good college which provides you with the perect environment needed for you future . With extra focus on your academics you can expect to atleast excel in academics if nothing else.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite flexible. In the first year you need yk study all the courses while you get your core subjects in the second year. We are having 3 CTs aka cycle tests which makes up our internals of 50. And the exteranl comprises of end sem exams and practicals .
Placement Experience
The placements and job oppurtinities provided by srmist is considerably good , especially for the cse department . The average salary you can expect being a cse student is easily around 5-7 lakhs .
College Events
Srmist believes in unity in diversity . Thus we here at srm celebrate each and every festival. Srm ktr also has 2 fests to enjoy - technical and cultural. The cultural fest also known as milan is widely regarded as one the premier college fests in the entirerty of indian colleges .
Fee Structure And Facilities
If your rank is within 10000k they waiver off you education fees a little bit and also if you have scored good marks in your mains you get a waiver then too. Apart from that the fees are a bit expensive but certainly not a waste cause our campus is truly a sight to behold.

As i said before if you have scored well in your srmjee or mains you have a pretty nice shot of getting a scholarship. Apart from that there are alsi various student loan options available to which you can pertain according to your specific requirements.
Campus Life
The labs are pretty good and the equipment they use in the lab are also easy to use . The are very strict regarding their equipment and they even fine you for each lab equipment you break. The sports facilities are also at par and there is certainly large number of oppurtinities for recreation.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infra is at par with all the other premier institutes of india. Regarding mess food i would rather recommend you to eat from outside or subscribe to a tiffin service cause its that bad .
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are extreemly helpful.there are no cases of ragging and instead they are like your guardians and they are also very helpful. There are no ragging worries and the seniors are also very easy to approach.
Faculty
Being in south , obviously they favour the people of the south but considering all options they are also helpful when you are in need . They also provide with you certain ways through which you can increase your attendance and marks in case of detention .
