Campus Experience in Thakur College of Science and Commerce

My course was bsc computer science overall I will rate it 4 star because the teachers atleast try to do their work properly. The subjects which are available are also real life based scenarios the most older technologies are dumped in the college like which technology are no longer needed because of autonomous they teach only the technology which are useful. Improvement they can make are remove some of the teachers who don't even know what are the subjects. The exams are also not so tough

There are not so many internships but I have got one which was unpaid and not even internship this is like you are joining a classes demo batch. And there are not so many internships provided but some of them which are paid internship they are very difficult to get because there are so many students applying for the same internship. So, your chances would be very low

There are not so many companies but still there are many but you cannot apply of them because still if there are vacancies for the sales they give to the it students and only few companies are available for the particular field. From semester 5 you can apply for placement rounds the highest package in the computer science is 7-8 Lpa and the average 3-4 lpa if placement is given then okk otherwise you will have to gain knowledge from outside only. The placement is only placed to the students who have some extra knowledge other than the college subjects the percentage of students getting placed are like 8-9 students on per 100 students

The fees of per semester is average 55000 and for the odd semesters(1,3,5) the average fees are 60000 and there are no scholarship for the general category there are scholarship for the lower castes. While taking admission if your name is in the merit list then okk otherwise younwill have to pay donation for admission

The annual festivals are so much like in every 1-2 weeks there are many functions in the college campus. In the month of December and January there are so many functions like there are function in every 2 days. The functions are very good. The faculties interaction with the students are like very good like they treat just like the friends. The interaction with students are very good. The students who are interested in the curriculum activities the college is best for you there are so many groups,clubs. If you are joining the groups or clubs you will not able to attendance the regular lectures. And the attendance is must in this college

The college's I have applied in Mumbai are mithibai, Jai hind and other colleges. I don't got the admission there because of the percentage like they have the high cut off and the donation amount are also very high in that college's. I prefer this one because this is overall good and nearby to my locality. The exams most preferred is semester end examination and all other can be taken any time they want like if are not available or suck you can give later the examination

The faculty to the student ratio is like depends on the course you have choosen like in my department there are 8-9 faculties overall Some of them are very helpful they will help you wherever you need some doesn't even know how to teach only. There are 2 CE exam and 1 final semester exam in the CE is like the unit test happening in the schools

The nightlife is not very realistic like there are no hostel. But there are gym and cafeteria Library and all other amenities but in the gym area only some persons are allowed like the club people they take the gym fees but the gym is not allowed for everyone.nearby there is only one garden named as dream park. And ther is no nearby places to visit you will have to go a distance for hangout or for raoming
