Remarks

positive: study environment is good, location away from city so very queit, negative: the college facilities, location away from city so for simple xerox u have to go 2 km away from college, teaching method.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is not good according to me. it consist of online and theory of 50 marks each. and u have to get total sum of 40. marks summing the online and theory . i think there should be no online and only theory of 100 marks

Placement Experience

placements are good only if your throughout performance is good the big companies have criteria of no back and first class grade. well there are no internship provided.companies are infosys, wipro, cyntech,and local companies.

College Events

there are various events throughout the year all the engineering departments for one time in year organise events linke comp. (computer games debate gd) technical events like optical archery etc. ) avishkar sports etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure i s according to the caste category. the amount of fees is feasible. fees can be paid in cash, card , cheque etc. also fees can be paid in two installments.overall fees is decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

the scholarship are according to the caste. different caste categories student have to fill different forms and the amount of scholarship depends on the caste category. the forms have to be filled on site www.mahadbt.com. i applied for OBCVJNT successfully

Campus Life

first year students have more extracurricular activities than the others. labs are fine well equipped, lit, spacious. however sports facilities are poor they is no cricket grounds. there is gymnasium.

Hostel Facilities

i have not opted for hostel. but my hosteller freinds told me that its poor . it includes quality of food, facilities .and also the fees is way too high for what they provide so many of my friends live in pg or private hostels and on rent.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful. since the college is anti ragging college so there are no chances of ragging. seniors helps us by informing us the course curriculum and also with the studies and any help they can provide.

the faculty are average some of them are good some are bad . teachers method of teaching is very poor only few are good. so students had to go for tuition or self study.some teachers are really good and coperating.

Since after completing my graduation from St. Mira's College, I started my preparation for CAT exam and had achieved 65 percentile in it. Review of Indira College of Engineering and Management

The college is far away from city Pune and there is no nearby hanging place except Dominos and McDonald's at 500m far from college. Also the transport facility lacks here so every new student have to struggle to reach to college. The college is far upto 10 kn from city. And no hostel is available outside the college so if you came from different city you have no other option left but to choose only college hostel. Which is good by the way.
