Remarks

College management was very weak while I was doing Engineering from this college in terms of taking the decision for the student future. They take a long time to think and take a decision. I am not sure they are still the same or they have improved.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college through the AIEEE as in all colleges 15% seat's quota is allocated for the AIEEE. There is a online counselling for this to enroll and fill out the choices according to the eligibility criteria and the Rank in the exam college will be allocated. If you want to change the choice then you can go for the Second round of counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I did Computer Science Engineering from this college. All the colleges comes under Rajasthan technical university and they run on the curriculum stated by them. It does have a very strong curriculum courses in it and make a person a complete Engineer.

Internships Opportunities

We have a option to do the internship in some reputed company or we can do internship in college itself as they hire some company for the internship. There is no general stipend given for internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement was not that good that time but it is improving now a days. Many companies are visiting colleges and students are getting places in the reputed companies. Even Indian Army also visits the campus for the recruitment.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many option for the scholarship and college will help you with all the documents required by the bank for loan.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is quite good. There are lots of fest as AURA and other things goes on through out the year. Its fun along with the studies and I think this is very important thing with studies.

Alumni/Alumna

All the senior are placed in MNC's and good places because of their own capabilities previously College management was very weak in terms of taking the decision for the student future. They take a long time to think and take a decision. I am not sure they are still the same or they have improved.

Exam Structure

There are 8 Semester that will be held in external colleges and that have the weightage of 80% and 20% are the internals.

Faculty

4

Faculties are quite good in terms of experience and knowledge. They are very helping and they support through out the whole year with our studies. They always help their students in their labs and classes task and other stuff related to studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum here is inspired from IIT Kanpur and IIIT Hyderabad but most of the courses aree not relevant today like in today's world C language is outdated but they always teach everything in C and in ECE branch the courses are considered to be the toughest and maximize of them are not relevant today.

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi, ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.
