Remarks

Everything was good there but sometimes the management was not cooperating and there were tight timelines for completing projects

Course Curriculum Overview

4

its a great course as everyone knows about mechanical engineering in this course i learnt new technologies and the basic things like welding molding and the parts of an engine as practical and there were 48 theory subject.after this i did my industrial training as a part of this course wich helped me alot

Placement Experience

3.5

I cant say that placements were good there but yes many company like bosch, maruti, nbc and some it industry like tech mahindra and genpect came here for placement and there were 3 rounds of interview and approx 60% of students got selected but i was failed in this they arrange for a pd lecture for this

College Events

1.5

As it was a technical course so there were many seminar and some 3 or 4 days workshops which were compulsory to attend and there first function was freshers party than aura its a function where everyone have to participate in one activity like dancing, singing cricket, bike stunts and many more approximate 3000 people participate in this

Fee Structure And Facilities

program fee was 320000 as it was a four year course and one get option for paying this semesterwise or yearly they generally accept it by cheque or cash and there is no addition fee for securing the addmision but they charge some securtiy and refunf this after completion of course and they provide you the fee slip with all the breakdown

Fees and Financial Aid

No i didnt go for it yes but they provided scholarship for some students who were below poverty line and got higher rank in the entrance exam

Campus Life

5

The college campus was big and good as it was green and there were some ducks and it had free wifi and it is in midille of jaipur so there's a great market but if we talk about gender ratio in my course it was worse like there was 2 girl in my batch over us 60 boys.so as we come on extracurricular activities so i didnt get much time for those but yes there were some labs which were exiting and we used to play racket and cricket inside the campus and for cricket every year they arrange for a match with some colleges. There was no robots and robotic activity but i participated in many debates as there were many practical viva's and projects so the debates were great for enhancing knoledge about that particular topic

Hostel Facilities

2

I was not a hostler but some of my classmates were hostelers so i visited the hostel. they used to give ine room for three students and it was a big room and there were 3 table and chair sets for study one covered for each and cooler and 3 beds.there was free college wifi and canteen

Alumni/Alumna

yes alumni provide us information about some the hidden ways for going outside from campus and also they gave some tips which helped alot in my graduation

Admission

I opted this course as i wanted to be an engineer and at that time it was superior for this course and for admission i gave the entrance exam of rpet and also talked with college principal about admission and interviewed by management and finaly i got admission in this

Faculty

4

As there were 46 subjects in my course so i learned alll these subjects from different teachers they really had a great knowledge of their subject and they taught us everything in detail some of them were holding a phd degree and some held masters in their respective subject.

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle, bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Birla Institute of Technology - [BIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
