Course Curriculum Overview

5

We can relate the syllabus with our real life as the syllabus are framed in that way. We get to know about the applications of each and every topic. There are two internal examination before the semester.

Internships Opportunities

5

Students can do internship in campus under the companies that visit. Otherwise, if any student willing to do off campus internship then they can. The internship program usually starts for the third year students during the Christmas Vacation.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible to appear for placements at 5th Semester. Some names of companies that visited the campus are Adobe, ANZ, AtosConde, NAST, NAST WEST GROUP, Phizer etc., Average Package - 8LPA Maximum Package - 10 LPA My Plans after getting B. Sc. is to do higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a first year student. The first Semester fee was 14880 for my Course i.e. B. Sc. Mathematics. The Exam fees is around 1300, it varies depending on the number of paper you write. The fees is semester wise. Usually it is less for even semesters than odd semesters. There are no extra charges or fees or any such things during the admission and course. The Scholarship program for students starts from the Second Semester onwards bases on the merit and marks scored in first semester.

Campus Life

5

Technical Festivals 1. LSC Election 2. Retreat for all UG / PG catholics 3. Alumini Day, etc., Annual Festivals obviously included all the Govt Celebrations, Graduation Day, Teacher's Day and Children's Day etc., There are more than 130000 books, apart from Journals, Thesis, Research Papers etc., All Classrooms are smart board enabled. The Labs are well equiped with Computers, Chemicals for Chemistry Lab, Plant Specimens etc., The College expects every students to get involved in some sort of sports. Extra curricular and Co curricular activites are included with syllabus infact, it has some credits to be contributed to CGPA.

Admission

I applied only at Loyola College Chennai for pursuing B.Sc. Mathematics. I was confident with my 12th mark. The admission process in the college is completely based on merit and talent based. Followed by Document Verification and Submission.

Faculty

5

Usually for critical/major papers mostly there might be 2 professors for the same paper. The faculty student relationship is just as friendship. Almost every faculty is best. There are total of 6 semester for UG and 4 semester for PG. Professors work hard for the students to pass their exam, but even after this a little hard work is expected by our side to clear the exam.

Night Life

4

Don't know whether the College has a Gym or not. Maybe it might be present inside the Hostel. There are two shifts first shift is from 8.15 AM - 1.15 PM and evening 2 PM - 6 PM. I am not aware of the hostel timings as I am a Day scholar.
