SRM- Learn Leap and Lead

Overall positive only. No ragging and no discrimination leads peaceful environment. Teachers mostly are very sweet and would help you in most matters. There is a strong student bonding which leads to help when college takes unnecessary decision to be overuled when not liked by students

Courses are in accordance to Regulations of Btech. There are massive number of courses available to choose from. With the flexible credit system students can choose their own subjects and teachers. There are three sets of internal exams called ct1 ct2 and ct3 . Then we have model practicals and final practicals. Finally we have the final theory exams .

Placements opportunities are vast at SRM . Almost all students who sit get placed . Companies like TCS Wipro cognizant amazon Verizon google directi ibm Volante musigma etc come for recruitment College provides Internship letters but contact has to be made by the students. I haven't gone for Internship via college but the college schedule doesn't allow stipend internship

Milan and Aaruush. Milan is a cultural festival and is very extravagant. Aaruush is techno management festival and is very extravagant. Both festivals call celebrity and make students enjoy. The colleges time is cut to half during festivals so students can take part. Both are national level fests

Expensive SRM tution fee is 2.5L per annum plus residence fee of approx 1.2 lakhs per annum including food . there are variety of hostel depending upon the students needs. AC nonAC, attached bathroom non attached bathroom etc are available. AC hostels are costlier. There is an NRI hostel which is luxurious but very very expensive

Scholarship and loans are available at the time of counselling. Various Banks put up stalls and allow you to interact with them on a personal level. Scholarship are based on merit in academic years as well as SRMJEEE.

Extracurricular activities include a video variety of clubs , technical and non technical with committee that handle these national fests. Labs are of high quality. Sports there are two grounds for students to play cricket running football along with Basketball courts and tennis courts

Alumni networks are brilliant and every semester SRM organise alumni meet. Students get to clarify doubts and get inspired by their talks and get motivated to do good and not repeat mistakes done by alumnis.

Faculty in the college are mostly post graduates from fellow colleges in Tamil Nadu. Some of them have phds some don't. Some teachers are excellent in knowledge and poor in teaching and some are good at teaching .So overall teacher ratings are average
