Crispy analysis of placement

The course curriculum is good but there are some subjects which require proper understanding and lab practicals which this college lacks in providing. I have choosen cse because of its demand in this growing market. Here teachers teach in the same old method of dictating notes rather than giving practicals and showing it

There is no such good internship opportunity given by college only two companies came with an internship offer and only 4 students got that. So overall internship in this college is not so good. Projects are just for the name no real experience you will gain from this.

The placements are very average as of now because I am now in 7th sem but very few good companies have come for placements . Most of the companies come with an offer of below 3.5 lpa and a strict 2 year bond in those companies. And after all this very student are getting placed.

So first of all the counselling fees is 10000 from which 5000 is refunded then tuition fees per semester is 54000 and exam registration fees is 2500 and back paper fees for individual subject is 500 rs . Re registration exam fees is 2500 . Rechecking of semester paper fees is 500 per subject .And there are some fines also for not having enough attendance which is variable between 1000 to 5000.

Campus Life was good here because you will find many visiting places here and sports extracurricular activities are managed by students union which gives us an opportunity to get experience on event management. Library is very good here , I must say the best building of this college is the library only.

I have not choosen this college as my first option but due to having lack of counseling knowledge I got to fall in this college . I have secured 110 rank in ojee from I can easily get a seat in govt college of Odhisha but I failed because the college authority has taken my registration number as an asset for seat booking but they without my consent filled up the counselling form in which all the college selection boxes are filled with gita college name.

So we have 60 marks semester paper and 25 marks from mid sem papers and 5 marks for attendance, 5 marks for assignment and 5 marks surprise test . Total sum is of 100 marks according to which we get our SGPA and grades. Some teachers do help student in every aspect but some are too rude being in the college is a headache if you can't get teachers in your favour

Gym, cafeteria are below average here. hostel timings are different for boys and girls , for boys it's 9pm and for girls it's 6pm . Famous hangout places near college are barunei hill , tapang lake , shiv mandir , and many small places.
