Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum includes core topics of respective subjects. The course curriculum focuses on the theoretical as well as the practical approach of the specific topics. Real world case studies are included in the course curriculum. The only bad point of the course curriculum is that it is a bit old .The frequency of the exams are that they are semester wise. The gap between the college exams i.e unit tests and prelims and the university exams i.e insem and endsem is not much so that students can first prepare for the college exams and then they are almost ready for the university exams so that they can score good in the exam.

Placement Experience

4

Students had to do internship in third year. In the fourth year students are eligible for the placements.there are on campus placement drive. Companies like Wipro, Accenture,TCS , etc visit the college. The average package offered by the college to the students is 3.5 lakh per annum. About 90% of the students get placed. The highest package offered by the college until now is 12 lakh per annum. Students are also given opportunity to go to Japan and work there . College teach japanese language for this purpose which is paid and optional score .

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly tuition fees for students with general category for computer engineering is 1,20000 per year. I have reservations for ews ( economically weaker section)seat so I paid nearly half of the tution fees. There are scholarships for the students of SC ,ST, OBC,etc. students who lives in hostel also have scholarships which can help them for discount in the tuition fees of the college.

Campus Life

2

The college campus is small . The parking space is is available in the college. The campus is not exciting. There are technical clubs and clubs like NSS. There is only one club named Art Circle meant for extra curricular activities . There is a yearly good event which is actually good which is that annual fest , other than that there are boring events. For the sports there is no sports ground in the college but many sports competitions are held indoors and outdoors both. There is a gym available but the gym is only accessible by boys it's not for girls.

Admission

My college has a strong placement record, and the teachers are very supportive and knowledgeable. The focus on academics helps students grow and achieve their goals. The overall learning environment is positive and encouraging. However, the campus is not very large, and there aren’t many fests or events. This limits some fun and extracurricular activities, but the quality of education makes up for it.

Faculty

3

The faculty student relationship is good. Most of the teachers are helpful. I liked the teaching style of the faculties. The teachers complete their syllabus within the time . But there are some teachers who doesn't provide good and detailed notes of their subjects. There are two exams insem exam and endsem exam of the university. Before the final university exams, college conducts its own practice exam that is unit tests and prelims. Both the college and university exams are not too hard . They are probably easy if one would study properly.

Night Life

2

There is no such nightlife around or in the college campus. there is a cafeteria in the college campus which is average. There is no good place around 1-2 km from the college . There is no good hangout places . There are many cafes and restaurants from about 2-3 km from the college. the library of the college is good . There is no hostel in the college campus. The hostels are available from about 1-2 km away from the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance: 8.5/10 (High Industry Alignment) The curriculum is highly relevant because it is one of the few in India specifically designed under the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs. PSU Alignment: The topics covered—such as Industrial Safety, Petroleum & Petrochemical Fire Safety, and Hazard Management—directly align with the requirements of top recruiters like ONGC, IOCL, and GAIL. NEP Integration: The college has recently transitioned to the New Education Policy (NEP), which introduces more flexible, research-oriented, and interdisciplinary learning modules, making the degree more modern and globally competitive. Practical Edge: The "Fire Ground Operations" (FGO) are not just physical exercise; they are a live application of the hydraulics and chemistry you learn in the classroom.

Curriculum of the college is as same as any other colleges. College does follow traditional approach but college does conduct various programs like AICTE idea lab course in curriculum. Teaching method in college needs to evolve and college needs to encourage the coding and development culture. And as for exam, for every subject exam iseasy to moderate level but for selective subject (depends on faculty) exam level is difficult.
