Likes

Infrastructure is something that is really good in srm but the library is very small
SRM is meant for its exposure as you can see students from different parts of India come and study here.

Dislikes

The management won't allow first years to join in most of the events
When you get an injury or if you have any fevers or something like that please don't to the hospital inside the college...it's fully money minded

Course Curriculum Overview

Artificial intelligence and machine learning is a course which is trending right now as most of the students as well as the colleges are making the course in more demand.As far as I see this course is worth the hype and it has a great scope in future

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For normal admissions through management the fees will be 4lakhs per year and it depends on how late you go for admissions.In my batch there are students who even pay 6-7 lakhs per year(only tuition fees) Students going through the SRMjee will get some feedback waiver according to the ranks they score.

Campus Life

As the name itself says SRM events will be held on a very regular basis..You can see one or the other events happening in the college every month.Each and every festivals will be celebrated in a grand manner

Admission

I was a jee aspirant preparing for jee and I got a decent score in jee eventough I didn't manage to get a cse seat in any of the iits and nits..and when I was searching for some other colleges SRM was one of the top colleges so I opted to join it

Faculty

Faculties are soo good.Almost all of the faculties handling my batch are very well experienced and they are around 10-13 years in this college.Exams are not that much difficult..Internal exams are more important than the semester exam

Night Life

College timings are 8am to 3.40 pm and the college bus will leave the campus by 4.15 pm.Hostels are really good but it's overpriced as well.Library needs to be improved as the books present there are really old and will be filled with layers of dust.

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

Placement Experience:

The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Firstly SRM has a very good placement rate, Campus placements are rightly provided in the campus. It starts from the 5 sem where companies come for providing internships to the students. Wells Fargo,Barclays,Renault,Accenture,etc come for giving placements highest package according to me was 52lpa in 2024 and average was about 7.19lpa 95% actually are placed from our college getting a job offer is the main plan

i was already studied diploma in electrical and electronics engineering so my course selection was based on that. the college which i have studied is 90% is absed on the old theory ony they are teaching the the latest thing. the internal exams will come twice in a semester and based in that your internal mark will upload.

There are many colleges there are many colleges for the same curriculum like MGR and colleges which we can apply for the same curriculum the fee structure would differ and Tak students with minimum marks to Loyola MGR other colleges needs minimum of 60 to 65% for admission process from the college. My life at SRMIST KTR

I had applied to and got accepted in Amity university noida, Christ university Bangalore and UPES Dehradun. The overall student life as well as academics looked better in SRM I got rejected from VIT Vellore as I did not get enough marks as during the exam time I was sick and could joy study. For admission we have to give a test which is conducted by the collage itself. The eligibility criteria for the test were 75% in boards for the preferred subjects and passing marks in the SRM entrance exam. Most preferred exam is the SRM exam and JEE mains exam....Read More
