Course Curriculum Overview

3

My course had 3 different core subjects with 2 languages. The syllable for languages was pretty basic and can be done without any help aswell. Well, the core subjects if provided with proper books, it can be done by oneself aswell. As for the teaching methods, excluding litreature and history i was not happy with others.

Internships Opportunities

3

My course does not have an opportunity for plenty of jobs in the market and internships are pretty less aswell. The college does provide information of various internships and its up to us wether to join or not

Fees and Financial Aid

It's a pretty average college. It has faculty with great experience but the college and i dont know about the ither department but, arts department faculty don't care much. They teach and leave. I spent 3 years in the college and was never excuted to go. It has good infrastructure with grounds and everything. But the buildings are pretty old. Has library with vast collection of books. Has a canteen. If you want a college degree without much stress, you can join here. The college also has programmes for NCC and NSS.

Campus Life

2

I wasnt a regular student at my college. I did attend a few events which were okayish. We were not given freshers and were given a combined farewell. No sports offered though there's grounds. NCC and NSS available. No student run organizations.

Admission

I applied for Nizam college and wasn't admitted there because of my 12th percentage i.e. 82. I git admissions in several other small colleges but chose this as itbwas comparatively better. To get admission in this college, one should apply through DOST online portal and shouldve passed their 12th

Faculty

3

The faculty student ratio varies form department to department, but in Arts, its around 1 : 30. Each year is divided into two semesters and every semester has 2 internals and a final exam adding everything upto 100 marks.

Night Life

2

The college opens at around 8 though it starts at 9:30. It closes at 5. There are not much places around to hangout. There's a canteen in the campus. There's availability of hostel in the campus and according to my hostel friends, it's very strict regarding outings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are more like a based on how the British schools were in India. The Britishers taught only some subjects with less knowledge about it or no deep learning of one particular subject . As I'm in my final year BA and my combinations are history, literature and political science, so I have three main papers while my friends in other colleges have only one main papers with deep study of it. They organised three exams in a semester i.e 2 internals(20marks) and the other end semester(70) exam
