Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum of my course that is bachelors of business administration in finance and international business is a 10 on 10 curriculum. We have industry visits every year, we have assignments which makes us work with the industry professionals and our professors are amazing in doing all this

Internships Opportunities

4

The college gives a many internships opportunities. In every year break we have to do some internships. Till now we haven't done any internships as it's the first year only. But soon we'll come to know more about this

Placement Experience

5

As I am in first year only I am not so sure about the placements but I have heard from my seniors that mostly all the students are getting placed. And getting placed in good companies such as delloit, EY, Goldman Sachs, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I have paid is ?2,50,000. The fees for residents of Karnataka is lesser and the fees for Christian people living in Karnataka is even lesser. I have also opted for the hostel which is not a very good option to stay as it has too many restrictions but its really cheap and costed only?50,000 for a year. Other courses such as BCom and BCA fees is ?1,70,000.

Campus Life

4

Overall campus life is great in Christ, every now and then we have various different events popping up, the we have various different clubs, committees and production houses. Every clubs and committees have one or the other event every now and then. We have events like blossoms, Darpan, Bhasha Diwas, etc. there is even a SDG cell that is a Sustainable development goal cell. Also we have a CSP that is Child Sponsorship Program where we can help children from underprivileged backgrounds with there studies.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel is inside our college, it's only ?50,000 for a year which doesn't include food. It's a triple sharing room and Doesn't have attached bathrooms. There is no kind of food allowed inside the hostel not even dry food. Coffee is also not allowed. Only dry fruits are allowed, even fruits are not allowed. The hostel have too many restrictions. So it's better to stay outside in a pg or a rented flat.

Admission

I gave the entrance only for Chirst university and NMIMS. I got into both but I choose Christ over NMIMS. This is because I have heard of Christ that the students here are much better than the students who got out of NMIMS. Christ is a stricter college but it is better for our betterment only. Christ makes the students market ready.

Faculty

5

The faculty members of our college are very experienced professionals. They help us even in there free time when needed. Reaching out to faculty is very easy which makes it very accessible for us. We have six semesters over three years. We can specialise in many fields such as finance, marketing, international business, strategy, analytics, etc. We can even do an honours degree for an extra year. In our colllege we have something called as a CIA which is continuous internal assessment which keeps us busy all the time. We have in total of three CIAs and one external which is the end term exams.

Night Life

3

There is a gym inside the college which is not really good but it's average. We have a big food court inside the campus which have various different food joints. Then in the campus we have to food corners. We also have a library and an amphitheater where everyone hangs out after college. Hostel timings are we have to enter by 9:15. The are around our college is not really safe as people have been mugged or tried to be robbed nearby. Otherwise even outside our college we have many good food joints.

Other Applied Colleges

School of Commerce, NMIMS University | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Finance)

I found out that Christ is better for overall development and students who have studied in Christ are more market ready.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in my opinion but can vary. Students get a lot of opportunities from various sectors. Average package hovers around 5 LPA with the highest going upto 21. It's necessary to focus on networking and internships for better chances during placements.
