Course Curriculum Overview

My course contains both important subjects from computer science as well as electronics engineering So we have a larger scope for placements We have more to study but the number of credits is the same like others

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am a first year student so still have not done any internship We are offered internship from second or third year from the college We have given projects by our professors and research departments also

Placement Experience

The placements here are pretty decent The required cgpa for eligibility is 7 CGPA but for super dream package is 9 cgpa More than 90 percent students get placed I plan to work for 2 years after getting a job before going for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees was 3 lakhs yearly Caution fees was 15000 Admission fees was 15000 Registration fees was 1035 No other fees was charged I belong to category 2 Category 1 has 2 lakhs fees Category 3 had 4 lakhs

Campus Life

Our campus life is good and appreciable There is a fest called techno vit in September and one in January called vibrance every year There are playground and courts for every sport Clubs and activities are also encouraged

Hostel Facilities

We have an AC room in the hostel with 4 bed sharing Mess food is good and hygienic The menu changes regularly every month The registration process was done online from our home itself The fees is 2 lakhs

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

I gave JEE mains but couldn't get through I didn't apply for any other private colleges for BTech The admission process here was online The entrance was a CBT MCQ type and contained 125 marks without negative marking

Faculty

Faculties are student friendly and supportive They teach properly and give suitable notes on time There are 5 subjects this year for written and 5 labs The course curriculum is very relevant and at par with the industrial needs

Night Life

For girls there is zero nightlife We need to be inside out hostels before 8 pm at night We hangout at Domino's or gazebo There is also north square for the north indian food There is also a paid gym and swimming pool here

SRM UNIVERSITY- THE GOOD AND THE WORSE

Placement Experience:

The placement here is pretty good , we can get internships from 3 rd year onwards but the placement is after 4th year . The highest package offered here is 1.08 cpa The average package offered here is 6 lpa And if you want to get a good enough package here you will habe to study. Hard and be productive in coding it will be best if you maintain a higher cgpa than 8 . Many companies come here like amazon, google, tcs and many more.

HONEST TRUTH ABOUT COLLEGES

Placement Experience:

I am currently in 3rd year. From what I have heard and seen. There are core companies like Boeing, indigo etc.. who are regularly coming for campus placement. This year I heard that about 11-12 people for selected in Boeing for a package of 9-10 LPA. I can say one thing for sure that placements are only based on your individual performance and your skill set. Just learning the course isn't going to land you a job. All the people who are competing for this job has done the same thing like you did (ie complete this course). Try to know your basics very well instead of faking your CGPA. Attend lectures, competition and internship to keep that resume look unique

Now the syllabus is changed and it is relevant . The duration for preparing for exams and difficulty level are okay manageable . Elective exams will be there , which can be selected by the students . during the cat exam , we will have 2 exams on the same day and will have a holiday for the next exam .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Navigating Rec

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Artificial Intelligence and data science as I was veey much interested to learn about AI and I believe that this course has a lot of scope outside. In my college they do provide a good curriculum for this course that teaches things from the basic to advanced level. The difficulty level of exams is a bit high sometimes but if we maintain a good score overall it will be easy to pass.

VIT Fresher review

apart from JEE I applied for BITSAT exam. In Jee I secured 94 percentile and with EWS I could have got NIT. Also got good rank in KCET but I learnt that VIT is better than all KCET colleges so i didnt even apply for KCET counselling. BITS wasnt an option for me because of its fancy fees system. My sister studies in VIT vellore branch doing Integrated M.Tech course of 5 years so I learnt about VIT. The main reason I joined vit was for placements. Good amount of placements and opportunities are offered from VIT. We have to write VITEEE exam based on our rank we will be allowed to participate in counselling. cut off depends on category and course and also campus. first preference for any student would be Vellore campus. But we have to get rank below 2000 for category 1 of my course. No other exams are accepted here apart from VITEEE. total cut off for CSE and specialization courses for vellore branch would be around rank of 30k for category 5 and for Chennai branch it would be 50k rank....Read More
