Course Curriculum Overview

5

Courses are quite interesting they give you 3 main subject in terms of genetics, biology and biochemistry in terms of biotechnology and that is good like you don't have to think after your bachelors degree and it's quite good for your future

Internships Opportunities

4

They offers different workshop and offers you internship when you are in your last semester and that is good u have to do internship thats gives a idea about your future but it's mostly unpaid so think before getting a internship

Placement Experience

5

They are good for placements but in India biotechnology is not so much grown now so don't expect more now and yes college gives proper information about your placements and also help you for getting a college placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees was 210000 but u have to pay 70000 and for NRI it's 1 lakh per year and for foreign its more than 1.2 lakh per year .fee is quite less as conapre to other private university and they also provide scholarship

Campus Life

5

Campus life is fun u found new people's with different or same interest but yes when i was entered into that i felt quite nervous but on the 2nd day i had made many friends because all others were looking for the same thing a new journey and we enjoyed alot this is gonna be my last year but i made lot of memories

Hostel Facilities

5

My hostel experience was not that much good as i just lived for 1 year but i got the strict block where they came everymorning and knock your door and told you to go to your class and even they didn't allowed other students to enter in our block not even the other hostellers but others block were very chill and happening

Admission

I applied 2 university one is reva and second one was jain university and after some research i got to know that jain is good but they only focus about biotechnology that is good but then you are bind with a single way but reva university provide 3 major subject which opens you a many pathway thay u can choose according to your interest so i chose reva university and the admission process is quite easy u have to fill the admission form and them u have to give an entrance exam and after a simple query you get admission

Faculty

4

Faculty are good actually they all are from different background culture and they are quite understanding but if you mess with them they will your biggest nightmare. Everyone is good but some are very professional for their job that you might find someone rude

Night Life

4

Night life in college is not that much fun because we have to follow some rules and girls have to go back on their rooms after 8 pm and boys can chill and roam around we can order online food and all but after 12 am we were also not allowed to order anything this is quite disappointing but yes you can chill inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college curriculum is designed in such a way that it helped me a lot improving my English and skills. This would help me more in my further carrier. I learnt many skills through the ignitors program whkch5is conducted each year and this college focuses more on all round development.

I would like to tell that syllabus and curriculum they have is student friendly and doesn't give much pressure or torcher to students. Even this follows in the labs where labs are well equipped. I feel a bit less focus on industrial applications

Placement Experience:

We do have campus placements in our college. From 5th sem everybody is eligible to appear for campus placements. As far as I know there were Walmart,Paycheck, aceture, sony and many more. Almost about 30 to 50 students from each department get selected in placements. Not really sure about the percentage but somewhere in 60/100. My plans after the degree is to clear SSB or do my MCA .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Postives: - 3 major subjects covered within 3 years. - Options to add other preffered subject along with the main course. - Ability to divert to another field for Master's. Negatives: - Less time of study reduces the level of knowledge in each of the 3 individual subjects. - Bad combinations that have no relation to the other subjects. Summary: The course very well prepares us for the real world and further higher academic pursuits. Reducing the subjects to a dual major would be better for in depth study or increasing the time period to 4 years would also be great. More of practicals would be nice as it provides more practice for real life scenarios. The exams are difficult but the notes provided by the teacher in class and online makes the learning experience so much better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for BSc is simply the extended version of 11th and 12th standard portions in the first year. It includes the same concepts and the teaching method is rather ordinary and boring and doesn't seem to focus on making the students live the subject but is rather focussed on marks and other upcoming exams. A teacher kept insisting us to do certain problems skipping the others considering the factory that it is very important for a exam after UG. She also stated that everyone are most likely to take up teaching as a job after this which shows how narrow minded and shallow the opinions and minds of the teachers are. This amounts for a greater level of discouragement.
