Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is good but the only problem is in engineering we will have some subjecsb irrespective of subject we have choosen other than that everything is good when it comes to core subjects and exam difficuty is moderate to difficult

year wise fees is 475000 is for tution fees scholarships may vary every year scholarships are based on srmjee cutoff ranks and 12th board marks

Campus Life

we can enjoy so much in this university with studies on other hand we have many clubs for music dance singing technical fun games sports tennis badminton cricket swimmimg pool electrical workshops and many more

Hostel Facilities

the hostel facilty is also good but the only problem we have is the intime of hostel is by 9pm in night irrespective of that everything is ok and we cannot go into other hostels for meeting friends is also a problem

Admission

the main thing i have choosen this college is i want to private colleges near to my hometwon and they are vellore institute of technology and srm institute of technology and i did nit qualify for cutoff in vit so i have choosen srm

Faculty

the faculty here is top notch and the exam system is you will have internals for 60 marks inclusive of lab and theory exams and 40 marks are of semester end exam which is external ....................................

Night Life

the nightlife around campus is good and the security is also struct on other side we will have security on all sides of college and security is of retired army officers and we have cameras all over the campus

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG. Entrance is their for SRM University and one has to clear that to get admission here.
