Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum I've chosen is AIML. It is a leading topic which makes a good impact on the future lives of human being. And there are alots of opportunities for me to look forward in the future based on the curriculum I've chosen . I suggest the college to include more workshops and that are relevant to the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
I'm in 5th sem and I haven't gotten an internship yet. But for the 6th sem students my college is providing intership with stipend of ?8000 per month. Which is very low. The projects are developed by the students itself and that is how they perform well in the intership.
Placement Experience
The placements in my college is very bad. Very least amount of students get placed every year through campus and others apply on their own and gt placed. The companies include TCS, congnizant, dxc, etc. the offers made are 10 . The average package is 400000 and the highest is 10000. The percentage of students getting placed is 5% My plan is obviously is to get a job after getting the degree. I'll work for 2 years and then get a masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in RYMEC is increasing yearly. The fee provided for me is 115000 which includes the university fee and lab fees. The admission fee for me was 1000. Also the exclude the exam fee which is 2700 per year. The fees for my batchmates deferes from mine because some of them have applied through UGCET and some are SCST. Their fees is somewhat starting from 30000. There are scholarship available ie SSP and NSP scholarship. I've applied to these scholarships but never gotten one.
Campus Life
The technical fests are held in November, and the annual fests are held in May. Overall, my college's festivals are great, and the whole town waits for them. The range of books available is huge on my campus. The library has access to all genres of books and journals. A variety of sports events are conducted. Many students participate and win rewards. The faculty also encourages the students to participate.
Admission
I had applied to BITM. That college is most preferable among the other students because it has great placements and assure a job to the students. I have chosen RYMEC because it is very compatible to me. Also the college provides alots of workshops and hackathon which encourages to students to build their skills. The faculties of my college are soft spoken tol. These are the main reasons I've chosen this college. No I didn't get a rejection from the college. When I had been there to apply for admission. The admission process is very easy here. We have to submit a bunch of documents and pay the initial installation of the fees including the admission fees. The eligibility is 60% in the puc. The exam accepted are UGCET and JEE.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:5. The faculties are friendly and interactive too. They make us comfortable to ask doubts and interact with other members. I'm from AIML dept and my HOD is really good. She is very friendly and innovative. If a students wants to do smtg out of the box , she never fails to motivate that student. She is always supportive and lets us do whatever we want. Some professors in our college are really rude and they do not treat the students we'll. Some of these professors make us very uncomfortable which makes us very difficult to interact with them . The weightage of Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) is 50% and for Semester End Exam (SEE) is 50%. The minimum passing mark for the CIE is 40% of the maximum marks (20 marks out of 50) and for the SEE minimum passing mark is 35% of the maximum marks (18 out of 50 marks). A student shall be deemed to have satisfied the academic requirements and earned the credits allotted to each subject/ course if the student secures a minimum of 40% (40 marks out of 100) in the sum total of the CIE (Continuous Internal Evaluation) and SEE (Semester End Examination) taken together.
Night Life
There is no nightlife for me as I am a dayscholar. Students just go out and hangout. There are no gym of cafeterias after the classes. There is no gym facility. Around the campus there are some hotels and cafes where students hangout during the day.
