International Institute of Business Studies (IIBS) is one of the Top MBA Colleges in Bangalore providing Mysore university management programs. It is an esteemed educational institution, renowned for its unparalleled education methodologies.

Exams were scheduled as per B-School Exam Time Table. Semester Scheme of exam was followed as it is done elsewhere in management institutes. Results are declared fast so that students would know their progress instantaneously. It is very strict evaluation meaning you’re required to be studious throughout.

Majority of us got placed through campus interviews. Only a few had to appear for company interviews. Companies like Deloitte, Oracle, HP, P&G, ITC, Coca Cola, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities, Axis Bank, Indusind Bank, HDFC Bank, came for campus selection. Salary offers too were handsome, ranging from 4 lakhs to 25 lakhs

COLLEGE EVENTS The management encouraged us to conduct different events. Whether it was sports or cultural festivals, management always stood by us. Student forum arranged some important management events, inviting other B-Schools to participate. We also took part in other colleges’ events and won prizes. Our own cultural event, SURFACE was even more spectacular.

The fee structure is reasonable, and it is value for money. The college provides ample library access, best learning facilities, exposure through international tour and industrial trips. All these included, I found the fees of around 8 lakhs justified.

IIBS does not have a policy of funding students’ educational needs through loans. Students have to arrange on their own. In future, one feels this may be looked into by the management. The loan is given by bank and by the college itself

Being a university recognized MBA, IIBS followed AICTE-prescribed syllabus. The specialization is introduced from second year, when we could choose from Finance, Marketing, Operations, BFSI, HRM specializations. The syllabus was comprehensive, covering entire concepts of business management.

There were limited seats inside the hostel. So the accommodation was provided on first-come first-serve basis. Because of IIBS location in prominent location, private accommodation too was available nearby. Food inside the hostel as well as nearby was good.

Alumni at IIBS are exceptional in the way they came to their juniors’ assistance when needed. They somehow manage dtheir busy schedule to pass on useful tips to us. The annual alumni meet was a great platform to strengthen & bond with our seniors. 10/10

Friendly, learned and always willing to pass on their wealth of knowledge to us – that is how you would describe IIBS faculty. Some have been serving since beginning, while a few are recent entrants. Majority of them have corporate knowledge, which makes them truly special.
