Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose information technology course here as it offers a lot of subjects relevant to the technology field and the curriculum helps prepare for the real world like teaching us about data science and a lot of coding. There is nothing to be improved as it is already good. The exams are held on a normal basis and it is easy to cope with it.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are a lot of internships offered in this college. Example 3 months internship will be provided for students in 6th semester. Projects will be offered while studying your course. You can also apply for internships yourself from LinkedIn

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for campus placements during 7th semester. There is 90% placement rate in this college. Companies like HCL, Microsoft, Google have visited here and hired students. The highest package here is 1.17Cr from MotorQ. I plan to get placed in a good company and learn mote technical skills and data science.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 250000 approx the tution fees is 140000 The hostel fees is 140000 The fees for students joined through management is 240000 and those who came from TNEA is 140000 There are various scholarships like SPIRS merit cum scholarship reliance and more

Campus Life

4

Events like Invente, Instincts and other events are happening here around September and March respectively. The books in the library here are really helpful for academics. The facilities for the students here are useful. There are a lot of sports facilities here like cricket ground, football ground, gym, basketball court and many more. There are also lot of clubs run by students here.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel room is really neat and they offer a cot, chair, personal cupboard, study table for each room. The food quality is really nice in the premium mess but is moderate in the normal mess. The registration process for hostel was big and it is difficult to afford if you want AC in your room. There are lot of apartments nearby to rent a room.

Admission

I applied to VIT chennai and also CIT. I got seats in both the colleges. But i got admission is SSN through counselling. We get seats here through either counselling or management and different courses have different criteria cutoffs and the management exam was moderate level difficulty. Overall you need to get good marks to get seat here.

Faculty

4

There are more than enough faculty to accompany the student's studying here, they are really friendly and easy to approach. I like Mr Kennedy, he is a physics professor, he was the one who taught me and my friends about an IFP. There are 2 CAT exams and a semester exam for each semester. There are very few people who fail the exams and the curriculum is actually relevant

Night Life

5

Personally for me, night life at college is really amazing as i'm staying in hostel. The gym here is huge and has lot of machines. The cafeteria and canteen here is amazing and has really good food. The college timings is 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Hostel timings are till night 9:30pm. The most famous hangout spot here is the clock tower. And outside the campus is The Marina mall and it is completely safe to roam around any time inside the campus.
