Course Curriculum Overview

1

Course curriculum is completely outdated you will find some subjects which is completely different from your course and most of syllabus is outdated you won't be taught new techniques and technologies. Example as Data Science student we need to learn data analysis tools like power bi or tableau or atleast excel but you won't be taught any of these which are very very essential for data analytics. Most of the time you waste time by learning unnecessary things which you won't even use in next semester and again you're motivated to take third party courses and college also provides only to students with good cgpa by charging a fee or sometimes free also

Placement Experience

2

Most placements for students start in 4year 1st semester. In 3-2 they tease you that you will have placements but nah it won't happen. 4-1 you will attending placement drives. But don't expect big big mncs or companies. You will see companies that you never heard they exist and some of them are fake. This year 2025 only 3 companies visited Pi-infotech, VTS enterprises, Delta X and selected 12, 18, 0 respectively. And first company didn't even give offer letter And said it was fake. Next companies promised soon to give but don't know. Coming to packages 8lpa, 12lpa,7lpa these companies offered. College highest package was 28lpa least was 3lpa. This 28lpa was happened 5-6 years back. Placement percentage never mentioned but I calculated from my senior batch it was around 40%. So like me most students don't depend on these college placement we either take GATE, startup or attend interviews on our own.

Fees and Financial Aid

We belong to R-21 regulation and CSE -DS so our fee structure is around 83k including all extra charges. I don't get scholarship but usually scholarship will pay upto 35000 generally but based on your caste you can get free seat also. I belong to general quota so I don't get any of this one of my friend is BC he gets 35000 and one is SC got free seat. Our juniors has fee structure around 110k

Campus Life

1

There is only one Technical Fest held between February - April which is 3 days fest. And before Dussehra you have a day for Bathukamma celebration. That's it no more festivals. Library is bit decent you can access most of the books and Journals. Only the latest releases are not available but previous books are available. Facilities, we have library, dispensary for medical purposes, that's it. Classrooms are traditional benches and black board chalk. Some rooms have projector most don't. Sports hour is definitely placed in your timetable once a week which you won't utilise to play because there won't be enough ground or equipment for everyone to play which I mean when your class has sports hour at the same time some other class will also have and now you need to fight for ground. There is no student-run groups, they say they exist but you will never hear anything about them. Only nic people attend few things which also has politics. Everyone will register in NIC but only few people go and everytime only these people go rest need just feel happy that atleast they enrolled.

Admission

I didn't choose this college I got rank around 70k in eamcet and I was demotivated by people around me saying rank is too high to get a college which is absolutely wrong but I didn't realise so I just randomly selected all colleges based on the rating give by some sites then I got this college considering my rank it's ok college but you can get a very kitty better college also. And most admissions are done from eamcet and ecet they also take management seats by charging donation fee

Faculty

3

Faculty ratio is very less I can't say extract numbers but you will get the faculty twice a year teaching different subjects. Most of faculty have less knowledge so they just be friendly with students such that students won't complain about this faculty. Few faculty are highly qualified and great a teaching but you won't be surprised when they leave the college. Most of the faculty choose teaching because they want teach and make next generation skilled. Most of faculty choose teaching because they failed to get job in software companies. Its not my statement its the statement said many faculty. And exams are average if you study properly you can score maximum marks no need to worry. But failure rate 63% in our department there are few subjects which require specific things once you understand it won't be matter to pass.

Night Life

1

College closes at 5pm and opens 7am that's it. No Night life. This college doesn't have a hostel. Most people hangout in 2 places one is cafeteria and other is benches under trees. Cafeteria and everything as same timing as college. So Nothing interesting you can do.

During 3-1 , we get only one internship i.e JPMC offering 75,000 per month which is of 3-month internship. Thhis year it took around 16 students. through coding round, hire vue interview and the hackathon process. I was selected to hackathon but sadly due to communication skills lack, I was not selected as intern , although I passed coding round, hire vue interview and entered hackathon. From 4-1 onwards we get placement oppurtunities like Deloitte, Chubb, oracle, DE Shaw, etc companies visit and offer good package only.

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.
