My Hcas experience

The course curriculumm at hcas Is Generally well structured, relevant and comprehensive. I was drawn to this course due to its emphasis on industry alligned syllabus, practical exposure through project and internships and industry visits, comprehensive coverage of core subjects, encourages problem solving and critical thinking. For areas of improvement I would say, update curriculum to reflect latest industry trends, increase focus on soft skills, integrate more case studies train faculties for effective teaching methods. 5 core subjects per semester and each exam had 3 hrs duration and sufficient preparation time (2 to 3 days) per exam

Diamond company providing an exceptional internship experience and enhancing my knowledge of steel quality control and manufacturing process. stipend varied from 1000 to 3000 per week. Campus placement: Students became eligible from the 5 th semester onwards Companies visited: Hcl Wipro TCS Infosys Cognizant Capgemini Accenture Highest package: 8 lakh per annum(hcl) Average package:4 lakh per annum (tcs) Profiles offered: 30 to 125 offers manually. Percentage of students getting placements : 30% Secure a business analyst or data analyst role on reputed organization and doing MBA at correspondence.

The yearly fees i paid is ?35000. In the first year I paid an admission fee on ?6000, a registration fee of ?1000 and tution fees of ?33000 totalling ? 40000. For the next two years the tution fees remained 33000 with an additional ?3000 in miscellaneous fee , totalling I paid 36000. No concessions were provided for special caste like SC, ST, OC etc. Hindustan college of arts and sciences provide interest free loans and scholarship for special castes. The institution provides flexible payment as two installments allowing students to pay fees in installments. In the first year fees are paid through the accounts department , while from the second year onwards payment can be made through college's mobile app, hcas students.

There are 4 houses such as green, blue, red, yellow house for cultural events and other events. Rotaract club, technical club , sports club and literary club places an important role. Hondostav is the biggest festival for hcas and pongal celebration, onam, christmas celebration. Library is well stocked with 1000+ books with quiet study area which is located at ground floor on kcg block .I modern seminar halls and with smart board in seminar halls and comfortable seating. In sports, cricket, football, kho kho, volley ball and kabbadi and dance were offered. Hcas connect an alumni network

I chose hcas for several reasons, firstly my sister's friend had a positive experience at the college and securing a job at hcl after completing her BBA at HCAS. Initially I applied to madras Christian College and women's Christian College in online registration. However, the application process didn't progress and the college locations were inconvenient to me. Hcas admission process: No donation was required, and no entrance exams and cut offs marks were necessary. Although I'm satisfied with the college overall but the campus infrastructure is disappointing.

I've experienced a supportive faculty student relationship, particularly with my class tutor ,Ms. Reegin , who teaches operation management with exceptional skill and care. She prioritize individual growth and ensures each student understands . Unfortunately Dr. Malarvizhi, the vice principal exhibit rude behaviour towards staffs and students. Our exam structure consists of five exam per semester , comprising one elective and four core subjects and having extra exams like naan mudhalvan and nme exams. The pass rate is moderate, approximately 35% of students clearing the exams without arrear . The course curriculumm alligns with the (madras) university standard and industry demands .

Hcas conduct group discussion but not conduct interview questions or test pattern but they help the students. There is no criteria for admission all they consider is an money. Actually not applicable because they don't conduct any interviews or entrance exams.
