Doing fire technology and safety from GITAM a good option to considee

The course of fire technology and safety is very underrated due to its high demand and low supply students easily get college placement our vourse has a placement rate of 90% and above making it a good choice over other traditional btech core The curriculum provides us with theoretical knowlede complemented with internship opportunities provided by our college when we reach our final years we become indutry ready There are to sessional (internal) exams period is according to syllabus and 1 final end semester exam Our course specifically is not very hard with general and common sense subjects only

As i told you our course has above 90% placement rates Our highest package was 15 lacs ( of 22' batch) And average package comes out to be around 4 - 5 lacs You can easily get placed if you have performed decently in your exams and it also depends on your overall personality It can significantly rise if you have done some additional courses which our college guides you to do which is totally optional but for your own benefit you should follow the guidance of faculty members I plan on taking placement which i have full confidence of getting one and the best one on that

When i joined the yearly fees was 70,000 per year But as of now it has increased to 78,000 per year There are scholarships that you can avail on the basis of merit which are on the basis of class 12th marks :- >90% = 50,000 >80% = 25,000 >70% = 10,000 Note these deductions are only applicable for 1st year only after that full fees has to be paid There are need based scholarships as well ranging from 1,000 to 20,000 for each year depending on the financial condition of that child There are minimal scholarship on the basis of reservation qouta

There are two events that take place in our college freshers part in december Which has a lot of fun activities such as ice breaking sessions between juniors and senior talent hunt entertainment acts, etc The second one is ACHIEVERS which is like a grand festival with concerts star night various percormances for you to enjoy and make memories of college life Library contains only academic books no other books are present for children Classroom are of two types one with simple boards other with projectors in it There are no social or activity groups in our college which makes it a bit boring And limited number of extra cocurricular activities make it plain

There were only a handfull of colleges that offered the degree of fire technology and safety my reason of choosing this college was accessibility as its near my home and i can do daily updown Other than that i would recommend other colleges like GD goenka IFSC Nagpur Which offer this course bht with better opportunities

The faculty members are a bit under qualified but their helpful nature and ready to solve students problem makes up for it in our branch there are 6 teachers only due to low strength of our course The teaching method is really orthodox but most of the students oass the examination due to the easy level of our curriculum They stick to the curriculum and miss on the practical exposure part a bit other than that some faculties are very good with ample of experience in teaching as well as industry While others are freshers with limited knowledge but they manage to prepare us for our exams and make us industry ready
