Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is somewhat relevant as some subjects does provide practical knowledge. BCA course has some subject which are beneficial for further aspect.some subjects are not so beneficial. Subject include coding language but teachers are not so knowledgeable about it. The semester exam are conducted by university in around 3 months of semester start. The exams are not so hard.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placement in their final year. The companies which visited are spektra system, tcs, subrol ,rise zonic the average package is around 4LPA and the highest package is around 8LPA .the percentage of students getting placement is low as most of the students could not pass test. My plans after getting BCA degree is to pursue MCA in a better college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for BCA is 56,000 which include tution fee, lab fee ,development fee , student fee , university fee ,etc. for b.tech ,the yearly fee is around 90,000 . college also provides scholarship by conducting a test .I also got 70% off in first year on tution fee.
Campus Life
College does not conduct many fest it only conduct fresher's party and achievers /convocation. The fresher's party is normaly held in December and achievers party is normaly held in March. The books which are available in Library are accessible to students for 14 days and course subject books are available for full semester. The classroom contains of benches and blackboard. sports activities are provided any intersted students can take part in it. There are no social group ,etc
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities were not very good. The room were for 3 person and the washroom and mess were very inhigengic. The menu was fixed and the meal quality was not so good. The price for hostel was 75000 per year. I am now residing in pg in bahadurgarh and the quality of pg is very good the name of pg is ashiyana pg.
Admission
I also applied to GGSIPU but could not take addmission as I didn't pay much attention to that. I got around 320 rank. I couldn't give cuet due to some issues so I couldn't apply for more colleges . The main reason to chose GITAM is because of the low fee structure and it being around my home city. My college accept DRCC so most of the students are from Bihar but for me I took scholarship exam which got 70% off in first year. The college does not have any eligibility test and anyone can get admission.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is 1 ratio 100.the teachers sometimes doesn't even comes to class and the teaching quality of teachers is bad.some of the faculty is good as they also provides practical knowledge.the college conduct sessional exam 2 times in 1 semester and semester exam are conducted by university. Students can pass the exams with one night study. Most of the students still fails to clear all subjects. the course curriculum is somewhat relevant.
Night Life
There are a few hangout places in campus like there is a garden for students to roam around , there is also a playground for students to play and pass time and there is a canteen which closes at 4 pm. The hostel timings are 10 pm. There are cafe outside of college campus and bahadurgarh is about 1 hour distance. The area outside of campus is safe to roam around
