Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is pretty relevant in modern employment opportunities. I was actually interested in finance but this college provides good placements for marketing domains which wouldn't be any problem due to dual specialisation course. The frequency of exams are pretty moderate for courses...in 1st CT you'll have 2 chapters and in the 2nd CT you'll have 3. Which in the semester sums upto 5.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are provided, in the first and second semesters you've the mandatory Attendance of 75% which is not a concern from 3rd semester and you'll get decent Internship opportunities here.

Placement Experience

3

The students are eligible for placements from the 3rd semester, the internship opportunities are given to 1st sem students also which is a good thing. The companies visited we're shree, corizo, infiamart, kotak life insurance, etc. The average placement from here was 7-8 lakhs per annum. The percentage is actually Interesting....around 50-60% students get placed but that's justified looking at people's skills and their willingness because many of the students choose MBA as a backup and they are actually interested in other exams as well. My plans after getting a degree is also opting civil services as I'm already been preparing for it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is 74775 for a year and for fee waiver seats it's actually 14775, In the first year you'll have to give an extra 5000 as the security deposit. The college allows Scholarship opportunities through the UP Scholarship, National Scholarship and Pragati scholarship (for girls). The fee structure is affordable for every person and as far as the fee waiver seats are concern, people even get refunds in the fee. The scholarships are managed by the DSW volunteers choosen through their knowledge and experience and their willingness. Overall the fee structure for MBA is exactly 74775.

Campus Life

4

The MBA department holds ab annual fest Hunar in which everything is managed by the MBA department and it's really fun. There is a central library in the college where you can access all the books you want. The classes have projectors through which the professor demonstrate lectures and it's pretty decent. The sports activities are there if have interest. The college has 4 groups.... Parmarth, which is an NGO that teaches students from slums. The DSW which ensures the scholarships of the students, the TPR which channelise placements and the post of cultural coordinator. Along with this many posts are there that enhances co curriculars of students

Admission

I didn't apply to any other college, actually I didn't give the CAT examination.... however, other colleges I could've opted was DAV Indore but due to late result of final semester in my graduation, I had to rely on aktu counselling. This was my first preference and got the college in first round. The admission process was simple, We had 5 days window to get our admissions done.... we had to report on the first day, where after filling the registration for we got our papers verified in the auditorium and then after verifying the fee from the accounts section, we waited for OTP verification and it was done.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is decent but not well. The faculty is approachable. However we've to appoint a CR for such things. There are some amazing faculties like Dr. Raji Kaur. She is an outstanding person and is always engaged in providing you the best knowledge with giving practical references. There are no faculty members I didn't like.....but I can say that some faculty members needs more experience or some practical knowledge about the real domain. There are 2 CTs in each semester and the difficulty is pretty moderate as you've to complete 3 questions in an hour. We recently gave our 1st CT....and the time constraints played their part.
