Course Curriculum Overview
The course provided by the college is following the guidelines provided by AKTU. Curriculum prepares students for placements. They make you solve problems that are connected to real-world. Weekly hackathons are taken. In my opinion no further improvement is needed in Course Curriculum. Assignment tests are taken 4 times a semester whereas class tests are taken twice.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. offers internship to students of 2nd year onwards as a junior developer. College will assign you some projects that you will have to submit by the end of your even semester.
Placement Experience
From 3rd semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Many well known IT companies such as TCS, Wipro, Goldman Sachs, etc visited and made offers to the students. Highest package raised in last session was 66LPA and the avg package was 6LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees is about ?180000 Tuition fees ?109296 Registration fees ?25000 All the categories have to pay same amount except for the ones who got admitted by counseling. They need to pay half of the total amount i.e. ?90000
Campus Life
Annual festival (Ignitia) is held in February and Fresher's party (Waves) is held in November. Library contains huge number of books of every category. Classrooms have ACs, projector There are clubs for sports and extracurricular activities
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms (2/3 seater) contains 2/3 table-chair, 1/2 fans, 2/3 lights, and AC (only for AC rooms) Meal quality is good and menu changes every month. Registration procedure is simple. You need to pay complete fees and they will allocate you a room. They will call you for shifting a day or 2 before the college opens.
Admission
I didn't took admission to any other colleges because of there fee structure. My college is worth paying as they provide classes for developing your skills and training you for your future. I applied in ABESIT, Galgotias, NIET, etc and I got confirmed admission in ABESIT and Galgotias but I chose PSIT over any other because of the fact that they provide better placements and have budget friendly fee structure. I didn't got any rejection from other colleges You can't get admitted to PSIT either by direct admission or by councelling. You can clear JEE Mains or CUET to get admitted by counseling.
Faculty
They have a wholesome amount of faculty for every subjects. Faculty to student relationship is also good. Dr. Shyam Sundar sir is the best faculty I've been taught by. A semester contains 4 assignment tests, 2 class tests (internals) and 1 pre-university exam. Course curriculum is strictly following AKTU guidelines and there are more lectures for training the students for placements and after college life.
