What Students Say

Likes

The lab environment is too good. There will be plenty of resources to explore and learn.
The food in hostel is good and they will provide non-veg for 5 days a week
The infrastructure will be good. It will give you whole some experience in environment.

Dislikes

Strict rules and fines will be there to follow.
Shoes compulsory and should be in black.
Phones are not allowed inside the college and inside the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exposure to the course will be great. There will be atleat 6-8 students clear GATE and there will be atleat one student will secure AIR rank within 100. The structure of course will give you good exposure to the field and will get good handson on laboratory.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is around 1.3 every year as i joind through the management. If people get into through government counseling it will be around 1L per year. This include all the lab and other fee, they won't be collecting extra fee during the academic year. The will give you 50K when you get above 9.5cgpa in every even semester. And 25 and 15 K for 9 and 8.5 CGPA respectively.

Campus Life

They have good volleyball team and other teams. They have won many zonal wins. There are my clubs for the students to participate and to explore the individual skills. There will be no interation between the opposite gender which is a drawback of the college.

Admission

This college is a underrated college which gives you quality education for students. This is my first college in my list and i got this. It had a very good name in my circle for its quality of education.

Faculty

There will be plenty of staff and they will be well qualified. The staff will have good knowledge and will guild better. The least cgpa will be 6 amoung students. There will be 3 internal and 3 special test for the students who fail to take 60 percent mark in internal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the southern indian most famous chemical company is there in our circle and other chemicals companies are there. other then this reason I like the chemistry subject and exciting to learn. In our chemistry department teacher give good preparation for the semester exams. My point of view the exams are easy to write excepting only few subjects.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Brutally Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

The placement process begins from the third year i.e. the fifth and sixth sem. But be warned the placement is pure dabba. The companies that visited are goldman sachs, pick your trail, venture lts, greenbay, taj, audible, TCS, etc. the package varies from 3.4 LPA to 12 LPA. These are just peanut money btw. The college says there's 100% placements ( joke of the century) but in reality only 70% gets placed. I plan to do MBA from a different college.
