Life at MIET Meerut

Easy to score in exams in first year. From second year it is easier as your subjects are divided in your respective branches You can score easily through quantum. Make sure to learn a language side by side as they wont help you in that area but focus on AKTU syllabus only

Since i am currently in 2nd year i dont know much about internships. They work hard to provide placements and internships opportunities but they lack in providing the skills required. But if you start working on your placements from the start you will surely get a good on campus internship/placement

Campus was 80% last year which is considered low. College will provide good placement if you are eligible. In every college placement depends on your skills be it IIT or tear 3 college. Many students are acquiring placement opportunities through LINKEDIN

I paid 1,19,000 for first year including admission fees. From second year it is 1,07,000. Placement opportunities are a little less as conpared to other AKTU colleges. I'd say placement was 80% recently

I have a good time here as i have made good friends and have good relations with teachers. There are a lot of clubs and committees to participate in but there would be no events :/ They will organise a few events in 4-5 months and then cancel it at last time

I chose this college as it was nearest to my home as i dont prefer hostels or pg.:/ College experience depends on your friends group. You can go to a prestigious college and still feel left out or bored with the wrong people. Make sure to socialise as much as u can

Some teachers are friendly and understanding but majority are rude and under qualified. They hold tests every monday for first year which was beneficial for me for my externals. They keep you well prepared for externals in first year but internal marks depend on your teacher You can do everything necessary to acquire full internals but the teachers take it personally
