- The strict rules given by the principal.
- More like a school than a college and it gets frustrating at times.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great in my opinion. The teachers are highly educated and experienced which leaves me in awe. They teach and lecture almost everyday helping us gain more knowledge on the course and concept given. It is interesting as I love literature with all my heart. Everything about it amazes me, the poems, the poets, the plays and acts all of it is just so interesting to learn about.
Placement Experience
Our college does provide placements, its just that I do not have much knowledge about it. The placements are probably just for the third years which is our seniors and probably for the top ranking students. So sorry i have not much information about it.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the admission fees it is 25,000 and the semester fees is 16,000 but including overall in a year we spend almost 85,000 including the exam fees which is around 1,600 every exam. The exam fees should be paid on the given date or fine would be applied accordingly.
Campus Life
My overall experience so far as a second year student is great, maybe better than I have expected when I was in Nagaland. Hyderabad and the people here is amazing. They're sweet and treat me good maybe not always but that is acceptable. Love my friends and teachers and also the college personally. Oh yes sports team are great, a lot of medals and trophies in the sports team make me want to join their club but I'm just not made for that field. I can barely run hahaha.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel meals and facilities is okay okay. We get three meals a day, breakfast which is provided at 7 amlunch at 12 pm and dinner at 8 pm. It is clean and well maintained honestly. Registrations can be done face to face or through a phone call. I did it in person right after my first day of college and shifted right after a week.
Admission
I have applied for other colleges yet I chose St Ann's because I personally preferred this college. My elder brother also helped me figure out by saying it is one of the best Women's college in Hyderabad which made it more convincing. And honestly I have no regrets as i have met such good people in my life.
Faculty
The faculty members are super sweet and nice but it also depends on their daily mood which is understandable. The only thing i did not like is the watchmen who are always frustrated and NEVER listen. Even though you got a valid reason about something they'll overtalk you everytime. And about the exams, it is pretty okay in my opinion. Though some students do fail to clear it but overall it is quite easy.
Other Applied Colleges
St Francis College for Women | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (English Literature)
I preferred St Anns
