The course I have taken is very interesting, and the faculty teaching is very good.
Deloitte, Infosys, HGL, ICICI Bank, Wipro, and many more companies offered internship roles. The role of the students depends upon the company requirements and the programs they are pursuing in the required courses.

St. Ann's College for Women, HYD is a good degree college than most of the colleges and has good faculty and facilities.

Likes

The College Library has good collection of books.
Exposure to Internships, Projects and so on by individual departments.

Dislikes

Watchmen and cleaning ladies are rude to the students.
Timings are too early so it might be difficult for students coming from far.

Placement Experience:

College has a placement cell. Final year students can register for placements through placement cell. Placements are numerous with a good package for B.com and BBA courses. However it was a bit difficult for life science students. We only got few placements for life sciences.

The Second Year Review

Likes

Teachers are nice and gentle with the students.
I love the people in the college, they're all sweet.

Dislikes

The canteen, it is too small in size making it crowdy every lunch break.
The strict rules given by the principal.

Placement Experience:

Our college does provide placements, its just that I do not have much knowledge about it. The placements are probably just for the third years which is our seniors and probably for the top ranking students. So sorry i have not much information about it.

A thoughtful review to an excellent institution

Likes

The facilities for sports interested students
The library was soo much convenient during exams

Dislikes

The attendance issue was a little headache
The hall tickets used to be in hold for wierd reasons

I would rate it 6 because there could be added more to the course. The information given was quite had the impact but not in broad way .....it is being useful to me because the further studies i opt so ig it not too bad

Good faculty and infrastructure but lacs lab equipments

Faculty is good especially biochemistry explains with depth
Library is great especially their web library is nice

Dislikes

When I have joined in the college principal was very good to students but as new principal has come it is quite different
Labs are small with not much materials and tools

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practical knowledge I could say is good enough to gain knowledge in this field but compared to the btech biotech BSc includes comparatively less practical training. We were only given glimpse and theory of specific experiments due to unavailability of certain equipments. Exams are however manageable to certain extent but comparing to other life sciences this course is bit difficult to deal with.

St Ann's Degree College provided placement but the salary was 15000 and for freshers. there is only a limited company and small companies like call center etc. this was the company the college provided for freshers

Nice infrasturcture, including ground, basket ball court to play games.
Full security for students, they can't go outside unless and until they had a permission from dean or principal.

Dislikes

Last minute record submission will be there which is stress for students.
Less preparation holidays for students for exam to prepare for exam

From 3rd year or 5th semester students are elligible for campus placements. They need to register for campus placements firstly by paying 500/- amount. There will be placement app where we get all notifications of companies or placement cell.

Placement Experience:

From last semester students become eligible for campus placements. But We will be trained and we'll have orientation on placements from the 5th semester. There are many top companies like Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, TCS, Dell, etc. There is a total of 41 companies visited last year. And 80% of students got placed. The highest package was 8 LPA. The Average was 2.5 to 3 LPA. I am going to do an MBA for my degree.
