The worst engineering college of Goa.

I would suggest people to not join this college because infrastructure here is very poor so is the placements.

I answered common entrance test and took admission in this college because I did not get the stream of my choice in any other college in my state the admission process is based on your cet score or you can also opt for donation seat in non governmental institutions.

The course is actually very good, but the faculties teaching here are not up to the mark from research prospective there is lot of scope as we have elective subjects like secure communications, wireless communication which in recent times has lot of scope.

When I was in college it did not provide internship but now they have started companies do not offer any stipend as they already know the state of our college so the companies don't easily allow you internship or project if your from this college getting a stipend is far.

Placements here are pathetic hardly 6 students from 80 got placed with maximum salary around 20k only 2 or 3 local companies came for the interview that too because owner of the college has contacts with industries and also getting job off campus is difficult because because of college reputation.

The events celebrated in are colleges are tech twister which is a technical event and ozone which is cultural event for techtwister few other colleges from the state also take part but it is not so huge event and ozone is a inter department event these events I feel are just for the publicity of the college.

Fee structure is very expensive considering the placements they offer and the facilities they provide in college the college dies not even have a gymkhana the fees is around 1 lakh for the year which is very high considering the placement and the infrastructure of the college.

I don't know if the college provides any scholarships but goa government provides interest free loan the loan can paid after an year of passing out in instalments and you don't have to pay any interest if you pay the laons installment on time.

We do have equal number of boys and girls in the college but the rule here is that you cannot wear printed T-shirt you cannot use a mobile phone we do have study related workshops but they are not of much help if your not actually having a good time in college.

There is no hostel facility for the college the students have to stay as a paying guest in surrounding areas the canteen in campus is shared with a higher secondary school my college does not have a canteen of its own and also the food is not great.

I had to join this college because of the course but I had asked about this college to my seniors before joining this college they had asked me to not join this college because of placements and other things like infrastructure fees etc.

Exams were very frequent but they did not help the students in any way as we did not have proper equipments in lab so we only had theoretical knowledge practical knowledge is just a dream here we could only see few components in are lab so practicals were

Faculty of this college keeps on changing as the management here is not good so new faculties join every year they take teaching experience in this college and then they leave so the new faculty who joins does not have teaching experience at all and exper
