Chandigarh University keeps your course up to date with changing trends and technology. Every year changes are made for new students to introduce them with changing world , so students of Chandigarh University doesn't lag behind from others. In total Chandigarh University has 3 exams .Two of which are Internals and the last one is external. Internals consist of 36 marks each and external is 60 marks .Internal marks are divided into various categories which are Internal exams, assignments , research papers ,projects ,summer training and Lab practicals. Which all combined are divided by 3 to get internal marks out of 40. Now the two internal exams which comes with two sections A and B. Section A consists of 3 questions of 2 marks each and section B consists of 3 questions 15 marks each out of which you have yo attempt only 2. Now for external we have 4 sections A,B,C and D. Section A is similar to as in Internals section B,C,D has 3 questions each of 15 marks out which only 5 questions has to be attempted.

I think they might be in process of adding internship programs in University.

Fee structure here is very simple and affordable. You pay for each semester at starting of semester. And if you opt for hostel you pay for it yearly in the month of july. Semester fee varies for each and every course , for my course (B.E. CSE) its 75,000 each semester and hostel fees is same for all that is 85,000 for new admissions and 75,000 for old students. You can also take a education loan from Chandigarh University which you can repay at the end of year or after graduation at some interest (varies).

Chandigarh University has scholarship scheme for each and every student . You get scholarship based on your merit in 12th boards ,you can avail scholarship based on you your castes , you can get scholarship based on your participation in various events held in University itself . Chandigarh University offers student loan at some interest which you can repay at the end of year or after graduation so that talented students who are not able to afford education can also get benefits of modern day teaching and become someone and support Thier families.

Chandigarh University have various lab based activities like coding grounds , Hackathon, Googles coding competitions , web page designing etc. Chandigarh University is also good in sports area ,here at Chandigarh University we have sports like Cricket, Football, rugby, basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis,bedminton, athletic activities and many more activities. I have been livingin the same hostel for 3 years and it feels like home.Here at Chandigarh University we have Nekchand Towers (6 towers boys) ,Zakir towers (4 towers boys), Le Crobusier (4 Blocks boys) , Gobind (boys),City Hostel(boys), Tagore(2 towers girls)Sukhnaa A and B (girls) and one dedicated tower for International students.Each and every Hostel consists of 4 beds in each room , Cool and purified drinking water, Fast Wi-fi (24 X 7), Some rooms with separate washrooms ,some with common washrooms. Rooms are fitted with coolers and AC depending on your choice price for which is different that is more for AC fitted rooms. Every 3 floors has a warden assigned. Hostel food is pretty decent. Not much tasty as you get in restraunts but not less then what you get at home.

Chandigarh University has a very strong alumni network all the pased out students are invited every semester to interact with students to help them guide through the modern day problems. In various interactions organized here students can put direct questions to alumni and get their issues resolved . seniors here are very much helpful in providing information for various events and competitive exams on how to deal with them, how to reduce stress on yourself. All summed up seniors here like elder brothers and sisters who will help you out in any situation.
