Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is too old,which do not connect you to the real world applications. I think cource curriculum should be changed. There are 2 semester exams in each year and their defeculty level is moderate.

The internship opportunities are less in jec but if your campus activities are good and you have hold a good cgpa in your each year you will definitely get a placement opportunity in jabalpur engineering college. you can work on various projects in various disciplines.

Placement Experience

The average package job through jec is 5 lakh per annum or more. From your 8th semester you can apply for the various companies like tcs and others The highest package mentioned is 47 lakh. Above 50% of students get placed. I have planned to prepare for the DSA and other coding activities to get placed in company.

Campus Life

Tedx is the major event of jec. Avhan jec is the most popular event in jabalpur. Almost every book you need you will get in library you can issue 3 books at a time through jec library the library I'd open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5 pm. Sports activities in jec is awesome there is almost every sports playground in jec. There are various clubs in jec you will get ecery club you want

Admission

I applied for various colleges like in gyan ganga institute of technology And since jabalpur. I choose jec because of its excellent work in engineering since last 75 years. I have applied for sgsits indore but my jee mains rank did not match the cutoff. The admission process is simple you have to give jee mains exam and then you have to apply for counciling then you will get alloted to jec as your rank

Faculty

The students to faculty ratio is nice for every subject there are 3 to 4 teachers.Almost every faculty I liked in jec because of their interactive nature in classroom. there are some teachers I don't like because of not doing teaching well. There are 2 semester exams in a year in which there are mid semester exams also 10 to 12 students get failed in their semester exams. The defeculty level is moderate.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

After my jee didn't go well, I applied for MPDTE counselling where I got to know that JEC jabalpur best fits as per my financial conditions. Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. Every year in july and august time there was counsling happed you can apply through mpdte portal andyou can join at lower rank and if your are not able to pay more fee in private colleges that was a good option for you . Everything about JEC Jabalpur

So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch .
