Likes
- the infrastructure is good bigger than most colleges
- the washroom however is not so clean many due to being all girls university and hectic schedules
- the chemistry faculty is amazing mostly are graduates from iits
Dislikes
- they dont give you time inbetween for meals officially but they give you permision to have food
- sometimes they make fuss over attendance but isnt it required in all universities
- the lab equipments are really good and more than enough but there is no proper maintenance
Course Curriculum Overview
tehre are 2 semesters in one year and mid semester is also 2 times conducted one per semester according to me chemistry faculty has good methods to teach and also give us wider concept understanding i cant say much about how it prepares for the real word application as its chemistry subject which is mostly indulged in lab works but job opportunities are a lot for this field
Internships Opportunities
since this is a goverment college not a lot of internships are provided here by different companies this university sole purpose is to make a student elligible for real world conditions and objectifying scientific as well as social subjects
Fees and Financial Aid
i paid yearly fees of INR 3300 for my chemistry course but it can differ from department to department on basis of computer or practicle charges but all come under INR 4500 There are a lot of scholarships provided in the colledge if you meet the complete requirements by the university . last year more than 4 scholarship program were initiated both by goverment and the university itsef and many students availed the benefit too when they met the required eligibilities
Campus Life
generaly inter college functions of utsavs are held here mostly signifying cultursal diversity in orrisa and a lot of sports competitions quatarly are held irreespective of indoors or outdoors every classrooms have digital boards along with white and green boards
Admission
being a bsc student is mostly never a priority of a student after 12 unless one is determined for top bsc couse colleges althoug my college doent come under top colleges but it is in fact one of the best colleges after revenshaw in bsc courses i didnt particullary opt for this colledge rather i oped for top colleges like niser and all but the entrance exams are needed there where as here one is supposed to get admission here on basis of top marks in 12 th board
Faculty
i think chemistry faculty is the kindest and most respectfull in all faculties in my opinion and there are almost 10 teachers who teaches chemistry in sub parts which leads to greater understanding among students and teachers the exams difficulty depends upon a students knowledge but mostly exams are conducted in a standard way and very strictly
