Course Curriculum Overview

3

All the courses in 1st year have the same basic subjects. Half of the batches have 5 subjects and the other have different 5. They just study them simultaneously. When entering in 2nd and 3rd year there are more of the subjects associated with the branch one has opted for.

Placement Experience

2

College placements start in the 4th year for BTech course. To be exact from 7th semester. The no of companies coming for the placement are decreasing in recent times as compared to previous batches. The highest package offered in previous years placement drive was of 34LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a student of 3rd Year Btech. When I was in 1st year the yearly academic fees was 1,11,500? and the fees for hostel facility double sharing room was 79,000?. As it is a private college there is no category reservation provided by the college. But one whose parents have low income can opt for scholarship opportunities provided by the UP state government.

Campus Life

3

There are several clubs present in colleges for almost each social aspects. Every branch has there own clubs which organise an event once in a while. Talking about tech fests the technical clubs of the campus organise respective events.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel fees are quite affordable as compared to other colleges present around. But facilities are also like that. Rooms are not spacious. One person gets one bed, mattress and a locker in there room. Mess facility is average as compared to other colleges

Admission

I joined this college via counseling. In that counseling process one has to opt for a bunch of colleges in which you'll get the one based on your performance in the eligibility exams. I choosed this college as this was in the NCR region and also has affordable fees

Faculty

3

The faculty to student relationship is very strict in 1st year as every student is new. The teachers of 1st year are very strict with the attendance policies and inform the parents when there is a shortage in attendance. There are total of 2 ST'S AND 1 PUT examination in each sem. Both the ST'S have marking scheme of 50 marks where passing marks is 20 and for PUT'S the total marks are 70 with passing marks of 30.

Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
