For Ayurveda, The curriculum is updated but still there are soo many things which has to be removed,as those things are not relevant with our real world. The internship plays a vital role in making our Graduates into PROFESSIONALS{Doctors}. Frequency of exam is very good they are on regular basis. However,Places of improvement is Administration system mainly Funding issue.

Compulsory one year Internship has to done after 4.5 years of college and after clearing all the examination . In which 6 months internship is within the college Hospital next 3 months in GANESH DAS Hospital & last 3 months in Civil hospital Shillong.

Total fee for 2022 batch is 104500,while the fee has been increased to 117500 since 2023 batch altogether for the duration of 5.5 years. Students get Scholarship from their respective State which varies from state to state.{NSP}

No specific festivals are celebrated only Ayurveda week/Day , Homoepathy day ,etc only the major festivals are celebrated on a minimum budget **Again Funding issue from administration. Small library is there below Director's office where u can fing major books (Library is too small w.r.t other medschool) There were No such Union in our college. However,New KSU NEIAH UNIT has formed for the betterment of the facilities to the students.

Both boys and girls hostel are there within the campus. Boys hostel capacity is 104 and Girls hostel capacity is also 104 & Senior Residency hostel is there only for girls. Mess fee are excluded from the hostel fee,Mess fee is also separate which is around 3600 for boys(Run by students only) and around 4000 for girls run by (Private local caterers) Rooms and accommodation is good,Only double seats are there while in SR Triple

I did choose this college because this is central institute, location & weather is very good. Internship stipend is ?23,500 which is very good (which has to be increased. Administration increased the Fees but not about the Internship stipend. Also as per my NEET score the college i could get is this NEIAH,Shillong. NEET Exam and then AYUSH Counseling(50%seat)/NE quota college counselling (50% seat)

In Ayurveda college Teacher's are there for now i.e November 2024. Faculties are approachable. But in Homeopathy the faculties are very less in number. Exam is literally tough,Students have to study rigorously in order to pass also. Curriculum is updated but still there is places of improvement.
