Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not decided by the college,it decided by ministry of ayush # curriculum and course are good #in every year u have write 1 university exam and 2 terminal exam # terminal exam is necessary to pass for appearing in university exam for the batch 2023-24

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

One year Intership is mediatory for each student both inside and outside the college campus with stipend around 24000 every month You have to write cash both acute and chronic and submitted at the end of intership

Fees and Financial Aid

Good location , situated in mountain with full natural view # patient flow good with OPD and ipd both facilities available # doctor are highly skilled with good interaction with students # library also available equipped with full of books

Campus Life

1 . One sport week in every year is held on December for one week 2 one ayurveda day 3 homoeopathy day And several other seminars related to the course are held in each month 4 bus facility are also available for who live outside the college campus

Hostel Facilities

Sharing room r available no single room r provide by the college Meal quality is average both veg and non veg Locality is not much good and room rent are quite expensive and some area shortage of water r there

Hostel Fee: INR 14200 per year

Admission

I choose this college because it is central government college and second is high stipend in intership No I don't not apply in other college Admission through aaccc counciling and cutoff mark for general ayurveda is around 570 and for homoeopathy 543

Faculty

Mostly facilities members are local that is meghalya khasi people In ayurveda college there are 2 to 3 teacher in each facilities but in homoeopathic college there are shortage of some facilities # for admission in college u must qualify neet and selection through aaccc counciling

NEIAH, the heavenly college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has a very good scope. People unable to get mbbs can surely opt for this course as it is also a professional medical course. There are clinical postings starting from the 2nd year which gives the student exposure to the clinacal approach.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm currently proceeding BHMS this course offers us to become a doctor who treats the patient with medicine which have least side-effects. We are everyday encountering the real world in the faces of patients by knowing the sufferings and helping them . In my opinion there's need to change sone of the aspects of homoeopathy so that we can be more focused on modern problems. We have two terminals here along with one university every year at an interval of 4-4 months , the question papers are bit difficult as I said we are dealing with the lives so as it needs to be difficult.....

Placement Experience:

Last year after completing 4 and a half years one can do an internship in their hospitals and in nearby government hospitals, where they earn 23000 per month after that one can apply to any government college for a job. After getting a degree I will apply for PG entrance and then for UPSC for a Medical officer post

Neiah is a very good college for medical student for .

Placement Experience:

After UG completes an internship students are eligible for placements. 80% of students get placement after completing the course. My plan is to do a pg course after UG. As there are more placements after completing the pg course.

I did choose this college because this is central institute, location & weather is very good. Internship stipend is ?23,500 which is very good (which has to be increased. Administration increased the Fees but not about the Internship stipend. Also as per my NEET score the college i could get is this NEIAH,Shillong. Eligibility criteria for getting addmission here is you must have qualified NEET to get addmission here . All information about addmission you'll get it from the institute itself after NEET counseling you'll get one allotment here and all the details about the last date and about the documents that you need they'll provide you . There are reservation benifits for SC/ST students the cutoff for them is very low You have to qualify NEET and qualifying NEET is not easy you have to be very patient and serious about your studies, and no doubt exam is difficult, you have to be serious only then you'll get it . Presenting - A quick look at NEIAH

The eligibility includes a minimum of 65% in the 12th board exam with PCB subjects to appear in the Entrance exam which is NEET, The application form,fees,dates all are available on NTA website. No reservation was availd as I belong from Gen category, Regarding the admission process I find it quite hectic as if you want to participate in mop up or 3rd round of counselling you have to first report to your 2nd round alloted college So I think if this physical report can be switched to online reporting it would be quite helpful ....Read More
