Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because it has a great potential in future. The way government is promoting this course it has got a bright future. The faculty to student ratio is fine, there is 50 to 60 students per teacher. The faculty members are young and enthusiastic. Every faculty member is Master of medicine in respective subjects. Exams are also good as we are studying in medical college every type of viva with interaction of patients is done.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship is provided by central govt in our own hospital and three other hospitals of the city. All are government hospitals. As it is paid internship we get paid every month in the last year of internship with approx 23k per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very less. It is an central institution and an autonomous institution under NEHU. First year fees is 40500 and then the next two years 20500 and the last yr is 40500. Respective state scholarships are provided as there are students from many states of country. Northeastern students are provided special scholarship from the states.

Campus Life

3

Annual fees is maximum 40500. If you are opting for hestel then there is yearly fees of 14000 and the food costs for every month is 4000. Library is very clean. Classes have smartboard and projector. Extra curricular activities are not that good as it is hilly area.

Admission

"I am incredibly grateful for the enriching experience at North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy. To enroll in this course, you must have a good rank in NEET UG exam. The application form for this exam is give by NTA. The reservation is also divided in two categories, one for North east students and other like central universities reservation. The admission process is completely transparent and need not need any change.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a student of Bams, the approach of Ayurveda is very holistic and aims to cure the disease and not the symptoms. The course might need adaptation in the beginning. 2 terminal exams are held ever year along with the final exams. Teachers take test on regular intervals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For Ayurveda, The curriculum is updated but still there are soo many things which has to be removed,as those things are not relevant with our real world. The internship plays a vital role in making our Graduates into PROFESSIONALS{Doctors}. Frequency of exam is very good they are on regular basis. However,Places of improvement is Administration system mainly Funding issue.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as per my NEET score, the faculty student ratio is ideal and we have no vacant classes, the faculties hold MD/ MS degrees some have other diplomas also and few have done their PhD, their teaching methods are quite interesting, talking about the term exams they are arranged at right time and it's way easy to pass the term exam as in my case I even missed my 2nd term examination in my First year beacuse of some family issues still I managed to pass the exams
