Course Curriculum Overview

It's a course that most people dream of. Being a doctor us always a well dreamt proffession. And studying in a govt college has its added benefits as well. Since we can learn affordable. It also gives us good clinical exposure coz of its patient load

Internships Opportunities

We have house surgeoncy.. We're students after completing mbbs course are allowed to practice in our hospital and interact with real patients.. They have duty even in nights with shifts after which they have graduation. A decent amount of around 27,500 is givena As stipend.. Which am not sure about

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly expense for the course is very less as it is a govt college tuition fee is around 25000 yearly.. Since I was general.. There are Consession for reserved categories.. Also college provides scholarships like e grants for sc st and other resrvation categories

Campus Life

There are a lot of cultural events happening in my college. In past one year we had intercollege arts festival called opparam which was a grand fest. We gad interbatch volleyball matches.. Then interbach sports fest.. And a copa medicosa. Now we r hostibg triveka an intercollege football match.. We gave a variety of clubs active. We have ashraya palliative care unit.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good to average. But since the fees is not that high.. We don't mind small inconveniences. Other wise it's well protected and maintained.. We have a mess inside the college itself.. First yrs have a seperate hostel in case of girks to orevrnt ragging

Admission

I had always wanted to be in a government medical college.. As it is affordable. So i applied to all the govt colleges in my state.. And i got accepted into a college nearby my house which was a bonus. I had to crack neet with good score in order make it here

Faculty

We have well equiped faculties who are always ready to help us regarding all aspects. There r regular tests and once in three month internal examinations that help us improve internal marks. In case of any shortage they will try their best to help us

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Great for academics

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
