Course Curriculum Overview

3

I like chemistry and that specific aspect of curriculum influenced me to choose this course. Its a hit and miss situation regarding weather the curriculum prepare for rral world applications as you can benifit a lot. From it if you get a job in industrial or laboratory sector. But in the mean time. If u want to become. Medical Representative or wish to oen your own shop its not that helpful. As per further academics is concern ug curriculum can help a person a lot. Chemistry related subjects theoritically can improve as students can't understand most of the topics taught my the teachers. Doubts sessions classes should held more often. Frequency and timming of exams are on point as a whole 4 year study structure but in my point of few its also exhausting as students only get few months to prepare for exam that they need to clear at once to avoid ATKT as there is no best of 3 option available there are only 2 exams held instead of 3 and an average is been calculated and the passing marks for students is 50% or above rather than 33% like other colleges.

Placement Experience

1

From 4the year onwards students become eligible for placements Visiting companies are annova, nestle, cipla, mankind and tcs. Offers made are highly inaccurate as students tends to hide the placement and teachers tends to lie and shows higher pakages than on which company offered. Heighest placement was offered by nestle which was 6 lpa and average pakage is 2.5 lpa Around 30-35% students gets placed during placements most of the students don't give interview only as they have other plans for career. I am already for as a pharmacist in net meds

Fees and Financial Aid

Total tutition fee of school of Pharmacy DAVV is 140000 Rupees in 4 yrs that is 35000 yearly Registration fee is 4500 rupee one time only Admission fee is 10000 rs of DD Fees mentioned here is not incresed or decreased since 2018. For sc/st category there are scholarship for each respective categories where the get there full fee back on reservation basis. Fee is the same but the do get all the fee back in the form of scholarship. EWS, SC Scholarship, st Scholarship Sc/st category get the full fee amount back of their per year fee EWS get aroumd half of their fee amunt back via scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Festival celebration in college are teachers day, ganesh chaturthi, navratri garba event, holi, youth festival like Roots held in 2 years. Aavahang and raas cultural event are also held. All ranges and books and journals are accessible and issuable All, the facilies and technological provisions are their withing the classrooms Roots evdnt held for 2 days have sports events such as basketball cricket badminton sprint races relay races kabbadi.

Hostel Facilities

5

Rooms provides ample shelfs as almira 2 windows for ventilation 2 beds 2 wide tables and 2 chairs. One high speed lan portal for internet connection. Quality of meal and menu in the mess is acceptable, good quality U need to fill the form and challan giving from office. Of the main campus and the sumit it to the main office and hostel it. Self.. Fee of the hostel is very affordable only 2000rs per month

Admission

To be honest i choose this college over other because of low fee structure and as it is a government collegd it gives much better scholarship. So i applied to no other college expext sop davv. There is a college level exam or common entrance exam held every year for examination. Admission is also done based on merit of a student sometimes. Any and every student are eligible for b pharm course Cuttoff for the exams are fairly average and students easily can enroll by giving entrance exam but on merit basis you atleast need to have 75% in class 12th. Overall experience of the admission process is pretty fluent easy and easy

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is good that is 12:60 per batch and 12:240 the whole college. This includes 6 main subjects teachers one guest teacher one librarian one examination incharge one clerk and other are maintenence faculy. Teachers are proffessional as well as friendly and apporcable. Also teach us basic etiquettes too. Practical knowledge they provide is on point but theoretical studies are a bit weak. Teacher perform no partially Nd unfairness and exams are held properly on time. I like our makecting managment sir who is also out head of department as he is were approchable and clear every doubts behave very friendly. And provide good study material have great knowledge. Faculty i didn't like is tammana mam as she is a bit rude in my opinion and focus on some particular toppers There are 4-6 theoriticall exam and 2-3 practical exam depends on the semester you are in. Exams are pretty difficult. As we need to score. Atleast 50% to pass the exam and there is no best of three option for us. Every semester around 7-10 students fail out of 60 Course and curriculum are very much relevant if you are enrolled in industrial job or lab work or inspiring to become. A sciemtist but very little if u wish to become Medical Representative or want to open self chemistry shop.
