KEC is an autonomous college so the curriculum is changed every four years. The course B.E MECHATRONICS is an integration of electrical, mechanical and computers. The course is so engaging and the staffs in the department are easy going and their teachings methods are well appreciated. There will be 2 to 4 tutorials per week and the difficulty of it is easy

The fee structure for the students who got admitted by TNEA counselling is 125000 and for the students who hot admitted through management quota is 150000 , the fee including the tuition fee and hostel fee is free for the students who came in 7.5 reservation from the government of tamilnadu, Many scholarship are available through the college are available, it is very well supported here

The technical events are conducted frequently here by many clubs inclusive of Rotaract, iset club and various clubs in the campus, every class room has a projector and many labs are available with many accessible equipments. Library is accessible and E-library is also available here

I choose this college for its best infrastructure and disciplined environment is a first tyre college so i made a decision to be here.I got rejected in PSG,KCT as my cut off(170/200) is not enough to get a seat there. I got admission offers from Ramakrishna college, karpagam and amritha vidhya vishawapeetham. The exams accepted for the admission are the CBSE board and state board exams. The admission process can be done by either TNEA or management quota or even from the KVIIT trust

The faculty at KEC are friendly except some, there are some strict staffs too and also easy going staffs, all the supporting staffs are strict, there are no specific staff's name who are strict it purely depends on their mood. The exams here will be conducted in the meantime after the symposiums, there will be two tutorial tests per subject before each CAT(continuous assessment test) and there are three CATs per semester. The difficultly of the papers are moderate
