Likes

There is internships in prestigious institute as JNV
Well maintained library and laboratorys for all the courses
Big ground and preference is given for all the sports

Dislikes

Strict rules for both boys and girls especially hostilities
Creepy security guards they can take photos without anyones permission
Girls to boy ratio is more there are 3 girls hostel but only 2 for boys

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is so much diluted they only focus on making teachers but there is no scope for research in this college. Its all memory based subjects nothing new to the system and we lab marks are done only for namesake

Internships Opportunities

As you know it is an educational institution so we have 2 internship one in our 7th semester and second in our 11th semester. Both the internship are payless and are done in JNV. So we get both exposure and experience at the same time

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly we have to pay Rs.12286 And they have scholarship by NCERT They also have SCC scholarship For SC/ST they have to pay only 10286 Institute fees 9500 University fess 2786 For hostel students 3000 extra fees

Campus Life

Onam, Batukamma, Kannada rajyotsava, Pongal and navratri are celebrated every year along with Ganesha Chaturthi. Library is well occupied and organized for both students and lecturers Smart boards and ICT are around the campus

Hostel Facilities

We have 2 occupancy rooms with 2 cupboards for each and 24/7 wifi facility. Menu is as per south Indian norms Registration of hostel is done during admission of college itself. Quality of food is 7/10 15 day once we get special food Only vegetarian food

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

I had a confirmed seat in B.Sc. forensic science at Hassanamba University i left it because RIE provides 100% job placement and internship in JNV. I only applied in Hassanamba University and I did not get rejected there. Everyone has to write CEE exam which is held once in a year. For UG courses its state qouta For PG it is AIR

RIE MYSORE : A student's perspective

I've applied to the some collages kerala for BSc Physics degree. I got admission in almost every college I've applied. I was doing BSc Physics in farook college for 2 months. Then the entrance result got published and since it's degree including integrated masters degree along with B.Ed i chose this college. Knowing more about RIEM

I haven't applied to any other colleges. The interesting thing about my college is the integrated course which gives 3 degree (BSc) in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and BEd in Physical science and mathematical science and MSc in Physics. The admission is based on entrance exam called CEE RIE which is a pretty easy exam. Admission through RIE CEE entrance examination to the 5 RIE's (RIE BHOPAL, RIE SHILONG, RIE AJMER, RIE BHUVANESHWAR, RIE NELLUR (upcoming), RIE MYSORE).
