- Classrooms are ok but some of it's benches are broken.
- The projector in most of the classes does not works.
- The students of b.com , bca and b.sc have not much choice in subjects as ba students.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this course there are curriculum to develop your programming skills, like web page development, how to use prepare ppts , how to develop program in c,etc. In this course there is not much of a curriculum that prepares you for real world. In mid semester exams you are given 1.5 hours and no extra sheets are provided, so have to fill that paper with all your answers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees of BCA has been increased in 2024. So it is 58000 per year. You have to pay 29000 after admission for 6 months i.e for 1st semester and you have to pay the rest of amount after 6 months for 2nd semester. During the orientation program after admission they introduces the students with various scholarship program and also guide the students who want to apply for scholarship or fees concession.
Campus Life
The campus scenery is very nice but some of the classes not in very good condition. There are many department for various curriculum that you can take part in , and also students can show their talent by participating in youth fest. There are very nice football ground, basketball ground and badminton court. But you have to bring your own equipments if you want to play any sports, as the sport department only provide you with equipment if you are participating in an ongoing or upcoming competition.
Hostel Facilities
There are 4 hostels in the college. The first 3 hostels are for ba students and the 4th hostel is for b.sc,bca,b.com and master's students. There are 2 to 3 students in each room. The hostel fees is 6000 for 6 months and you have to pay mess fees separately.
Admission
This college is one of the best college in chandigarh. There are many subject choices for BA students . There are various departments for curriculums. The cutoff in this college is higher. This is the best college for Ba & b.sc.
Faculty
There are almost approximately 15 faculties in Computer department and approximately 350 to 400 students combining all the 1st ,2nd and 3rd year students. There is one mid semester exam which is taken by the faculties themselves and one final semester exam in 6 months. These includes viva, practical and written exams.
