GCEK overall review

as i am in civil department i rate the carriculum moderate as i said i had to face language barrier during the time of lectures and doubt clearing session with respective course coordinators.the areas like communication between the students and teachers should improve this .

the college management provides various internship opportunities for the students or also the students can get interships from their own with the college approval.during the internship the students learn new things and also focuses and developed their skills which help them to work on various mini or mega projects which later help them during the placement session as companies looks for the skills and asked about different projects in which you are involved and what was your role

from the 5th sem the students were eligble for placement.the college has its own placement and training center ,were students get training for their upcoming placemnts.as the college is an autonomous so various companies like TATA,godrej,FIAT and many automobiles and IT companies visited during the placement session.the college's highest package is 22 lakhs and the lowest package is 3.5 lakhs also the avg package is around 5.9 lakhs,last year the highest package was 18 lakh from IT department.the electrical departmenthas the 100% placement rate .

there are various catagories for the fees ,for open category the fee structure is around 85000 yearly.for sc/st students the fees is around 3000 yearly.I found this college on CSAB NEUT councelling from Arunachal qouta,and i paid 28000 fees for 1st year.

the college held annual fest each and every year were students take part in various competion like dance,singing and costume designing.the college has a digital library and a reading hall.the library provides accademics books for the students for each semester .Along with academis the college held various sports activities for the students every year were students takes part in different sports and shows their skills along with studies.the college sprts management is very good and always qualified for zonals and interzonals events.

the hostel infrastructure is very old but good.three students were alotted for each room where they are provided with separate bed,table,chair and a cupboard.the students face problem regarding their rooms and personal network but they were also provided with wi-fi connetctions with own ID and password.the students alotted hostels according to their performances in exams and also with their distances from the home.if hostels were not alotted then you can also rented a room or pg nearby college in a good price.

as i said i found this college on CSAB NEUT councelling were and after some research and parents suggestions that for civil engg. this college is good, i add this college in preference list .other colleges like walchanchd college of engg.,COEP,VJTI i had added in my preference list.the addmission process was not that too difficult as the managemnt only verified my documents and after founding all good and fee submission the addmission was done.

the college faculty-student ratio is not that good sometimes they help students and sometimes not.the proffesors mostly uses marathi language during the classes for teaching and also cummunicate in their own language. according to NEP 2020 the exam patter is,they held three exams each year mid sem,end sem and teacher assesment. if the student was not able to clear the subject they also provide at least 1-2 chance.
