Likes

appreciating only the few teacher who really help out when u need help at ur assignments and studies
Infrastructure is okish campus is okay but can be better
Teaching quality is good only on few students depending on the teachers assigned for the subject

Dislikes

Environment of the college need to be improved no property ground or activity area cultural shows at the college r not up to the mark
Very much discrimination among students infrastructure not up to the mark what an fashion school is expected no permanent class room very few facilities r supportive
Course curriculum is different from what they atually do they don’t provide an sure placement which they promise at the beging of teh admission only brands interview will be provided which is ur go to take it or no

Course Curriculum Overview

I was more into fashion and styling evn before I joined the college tats my first thought to join fashion college l!. It atually did not prepare me well for the real world because it did teach much of what atually was needed the entire course needs to re changed and given in proper order so the students r not bored and confused on wt atually happening no exams only jury but evn fr jury its very hard as there is lot of arrangements assignments and final approval we have to go through day and night

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

No internship was given from the college we had find it all by ourselfs even after internship teachers did not care much to check on what we have atually done they just gave 3months off to do the internship by ourselfs and get back to college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the advance diploma in fashion was 1,60,000 per year this fees remaind same through the course, there was no scholarship or discounts given for any students on base of anything the fee was same for all the adfd students

Campus Life

My experience at Jd was really bad did really have college life!. College was not providing much of anything tat atually a student needed including club activities students social interaction etc so basically I had a really bad time at Jd

Admission

I joined Jd in Covid so I went through few colleges but felt Jd was much close by and could provide exact education base what I thought but after joining Jd didn't provide the kind of education base tat I was exacting

Faculty

Very few faculty r good at the college , subjects r been taken only teacher I liked was Swathi Gupta no teacher in 3 years have supported and been there for us as she was so rest mostly I don't lyk any teacher evn aftr she left college so there is no Writting exams fr us its just viva or jury marks r based on tat assignments and final work of the particular module or sem

JD is a good college for fashion

Placement Experience:

JD has an online portal where recruiters post a job advertisement. The same is shared with the students through posters of it on bulletin boards on the campus as well as a detailed message on WhatsApp class groups. Campus interview is conducted by some well-known brands and garment companies annually. Calvin Klein, H&M Arvind fashion and a few other well-knowns brands. I joined the advanced diploma course as a means for me to start my own small business or a boutique, but after studying for 3 years, I came to realise my opportunities are abundant and I could work in the industry instead. Which is what I have in mind now.

There was no entrance exam given. It is based on your 12 results if in case your results are not out then go with 10 results. The admission for me for done online as I was from the Covid batch. I enjoy visiting college and explore more in real life more than offline exploration

It was quite easy. I talked to one of the counsellors. And get registered. Firstly I researched about many colleges. Then I talked to them. I have given exams also for iiad and I got selected too.
