Regarding College

College lacks in flamboyant infra when it comes to the number of students who are here as compared to infra offered in IITs and NITs.Infrastructure needs immediate attention as there is no swimming pool,or tennis courts or hockey . There is no Auditorium also.

The course curriculum for the newly inducted batch ,this year only, has been revised and is way different from rote learning method of BPUT syllabus.The new curriculum is good enough for us as its design is much more similar to the NITs nowadays.However a major number of staffs being from reservation background depletes the situation of academics to a great extent due to state reservation policy

For placement the college consists of a placement cell highly intended for this purpose.Placements are the best here, comparing other state run government colleges of Odisha.The CTC during the recent placements are on a rise with almost every Software and several other core companies coming to hire from here

Xtacy-The college cultural fest.The most lavishing part of our college. Several many are also observed and celebrated including the annual functions,then several occasions for celebration related to dancing, singing,playing instruments, Literary activities and much more.

Fee structure is very reasonable when it comes to the facilities one avails.A student gets much more incentives from college funds than one spends in the whole year.The fees are extremely low with food and transportation being subsidized by state government funds when compared to what other NITs, and IIITs of nation offer.

It offers several Scholarship programs.Cet merit scholarship for meritorious students of each branch that are within top 10% of that branch in a particular academic year,Alumni organization scholarship for financially weaker students , Medhabruti also offered by govt of Odisha through this college and many more.College also facilitates loans from different banks

For several extracurricular activities the college has several different clubs and all of them are highly active whole round the year.The senior most batches are the mentors for this.Even seniors arrange classes for those clubs.Energy clubs, Coding club, Literary club,Art and culture clubs, Photography and music club are some of them.Labs are there for every subject.Sports facilities although present are not in intact

Alumni network of college is the most important thing you notice . It has got a very strong and decent Alumni network with some of the most decorated positions.Alumnis sometimes arrange internships for juniors.Sagarika Bath,IPS officer is an alumnus of the college.Many more as OAS ,OFS etc and different PSUs too.

All the faculty members are quite supportive in nature.I have heard from my seniors the faculty members are cooperative and are bothered for better placements of the students.We have a separate TEQIP cell here which is intended for better on field knowledge of students regarding recent trends of society as well as industrial needs of the current era
